Toronto cop sentenced to nine months in jail for assault

An off-duty Toronto cop convicted in the beating of a young Black man in Whitby, Ont. in 2016 has been sentenced to nine months in jail.

  1. Obviously with this slap on the wrist and the towing/ auto body SCANDAL there is lots of corruption in Toronto police force as well as OPP from the very top and all the to the bottom

  2. Now put him in general population in jail like the rest that’s in there see what happen to him then he will see what it feel like

  4. The sentence is s travesty of justice. i hope somebody in general population hands him some jailhouse justice.

    1. zero we let criminals commit crimes with no consequences in Canada. Then again the best kept secrets are when the other person is 6 feet under its a great piece of advice.

  5. Just to clarify, this guy beat up a guy breaking into his pickup truck outside his house? This wasn’t in the line of duty?

  6. If i was the judge I would make him pay restitution for 25 years after he was released from jail, that way he will never forget what he did!
