    1. Not true at all. Toronto is the least American city in Canada. Go to Calgary Alberta. Now there’s a city that wants to be exactly like Texas…gross! (no satire)

    2. @landofthelivingskies Yeah…..everyone thinks of Calgary when they think about gangs, gun crime, murders and shootings in Canada 🙄.

    1. @Maikeru Nozaki What country are you from cause you sound like a liberal city dweller and poorly educated on current events.

    1. Odd. When kids had full gun racks in their trucks, and brought their 22 and 20ga to school to go hunting after… in the 70s… it never happened.

      What changed…. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    2. Show me stats on mass shootings compared to our southern neighbors, tell me we’re not doing something right, in comparison to them, per capita.

    3. @AidsChan i know, it shouldnt be. Im all for harm reduction and the war on drugs is a losing battle. You need to address the systemic problems that lead to addiction instead of treating addicts like broken toys.

    4. @S.S We have stricter gun laws, more intensive background checks, stricter gun storage & ammunition storage laws, stricter gun transport laws and more gun bans now then we did 50 years, yet gun crimes and gun related murders are much higher now.
It would seem your logic is flawed.

  1. Gotta love the reporter. “There’s a high school in Toronto’s west end that is currently in lock down…(hold for suspense, they’re wondering why!)……….after a SHOOTING!!!!”

    1. You understand they’re receiving info as it develops, right? They’re repeating what’s being told to them as stories unfold. What exactly do you expect?

    2. @Adam Langton “There was a shooting at a Toronto west end school, the school is currently under lock down while the police attempt to locate the suspect who fled the scene.”

Not a click bait style reporting.

“You wouldn’t believe what these kids said was their favourite meal during the lockdown. Why? Tune in at 4 to find out!”

“A school is currently under lock down….after a SHOOTING!! WOW! SURPRISING! Lets carry on with the story”

It’s crap, I expect better is what I expect. If you love the reporting Adam, you must be her co worker.

    3. @Adam Langton actually no, they are intentionally presenting stories in a way that is suspenseful and can raise the programs ratings.

  2. Back in the days high-school was for learning… now I’m not entirely sure what their purpose is, very sad how fast things have transformed negatively in less than 2 decades

    1. @TheWhiteAfghan Omg stop some of our children are rainbow flag you just don’t understand that we should love all our children and stand up for them and keep them safe

  3. Remember everyone, it isn’t the tool, it’s the person. “Well if we just banned anything that can be sharp, and anything used to be able to make bombs, or anything that can be used as a blunt object, and oh vehicles etc etc etc. then nobody will be able to harm anyone else!” Nah. We’d still find a way.

  4. This is my old high school. It’s sad to see that it is now part of an ever growing problem of gun madness. The neighbourhood back it the day was a great place to raise a family. Not anymore it seems

  5. We have stricter gun laws, more gun bans, more laws about storage of guns/ammunition and the transporting of guns, more intensive back ground checks then we did 50 years ago , or 100 years ago, yet violent crimes using guns and murder using guns are higher now. Why aren’t the numbers decreasing as the rules/bans/laws are increasing???
