    1. @Shantelle Kenton this makes no sense… Although it’s your opinion. however, they are both PPV. Have you ever sat in a bus with no tint in the scorching sun

    2. @Visionary Allen Your level of thinking and your response lacks substance. The reason for the removal of the tinted glass is for safety. The police or even other personnel want to be able to see through a vehicle. Doing that can save lives. Many criminals tint their vehicle to carry out unscrupulous activities or break rules. For example people thief animals, taxi man have 2 people in the front where there should only be one, this goes against safety. Nuh baddie nuh tell yuh fi go sidung in a vehicle weh sun a bun yuh. You decided to go sit in it. Have sense please. YOU CANNOT TRADE YOUR SAFETY FOR TEMPORARY COMFORT.

    3. @Shantelle Kenton and what would you say about yours?!! The person was specifically referring to the coaster buses which the news highlighted! So how you reach taximan and animals? and how much unscrupulous activities can take place on a crowded coaster bus? Well then, the same criminals travel on both buses, so remove JUTC tints so police can see inside them too!! and while the drivers are traceable as you mentioned, there is no better way of tracing the criminals on the JUTC buses!! Thank God you are not subjected to sitting in an untinted coaster bus parked in the sun to get to go about your business!!

  1. Well the government need to get more jutc buses on the roads to prevent this. Put more jutc buses on the roads simple

    1. For many years now, Columbia and the UK utilize electric buses for transportation, which have a huge reduction in maintenance cost to operate. Too bad the politicians lack vision, and just bench warmers in parliament.

  2. Those PPV operators are the same one causing new laws to be drawn for them with their sickening music and those unruly schoolers, for if you plant corn you cannot reap peas.

  3. So Jamaicans can indeed protest. How about protesting for all the people who are killed senselessly every day instead of complaining about the removal of tint from a vehicle which is the law.

  4. Some of these motor vehicles are too dark good move towards tackling crime public passenger vehicles glasses must not be too dark

  5. Yes by law you are not to have your glass tinted too dark especially carrying the public. Too much kidnappings going on . In America you get ticket for it even in your own private vehicle

  6. Whatever is hidden behind the coaster tint is equally hidden behind the JUTC tint..so draw a different card please!! This is an obvious double standard that is setting the stage to implement something new!!

  7. They are striking , but they are also hurting themselves too because a taxi driver has to work to pay them selves- Not working for a day means no money for the day, and I am sure that most of them have nothing saved up.

  8. The government just can’t let those indiscipline drivers who most of them even don’t write their names telling the authorities what to do. Yes ! If the bus stops removed please replace them but whenever they accumulates so much then discipline them all
