  1. Why can I buy shoes from Walmart but not the small local shoe store? When this fakery is finally over I will not shop at any box store. All small local businesses only.

    1. Walmart has a pharmacy so they need to stay open. Just like drugstores, Walmart just so happens to sell shoes as well.

    2. Exactly, The big wheels keep on turning while small Canadian stores suffer. They should ban all non essential products from the big box. I’m sure everyone can go another 30 days without a new shirt, pants of shoes..

    3. @Glen Kinner Unless you have a self sustaining garden/farm that only feeds your family, you probably still have to bend the knee for CAT, John Deere, Monsanto, and the like.

  2. We are failing as a species, because of national political interest, self interest, and feelings of entitlement. If for three weeks, as a species, we enact a true quarantine, not this shop from home go to the corner store work under the table hideaway block parties funding by $2000 handouts that some simpleton refer to as “my pay”, had/if we do this it’ll end in two months tops. Rome is burning, and everyone wants a fiddle, and if you can’t figure out the reference, then you’re not likely to have even bothered to read to this point.

  3. We have heard nothing about any financial aid for CAF veterans whose pensions are less than $1,000 a month. They should be given $1,000 a month until the epidemic ends. Or at least a box of MREs or meals-ready to eat every month to survive. Usually we hide them and trot them out only in Nov 11 for the Remembrance Day Parades. El ‘Aurence Mac is hiding out the epidemic in St Peters Bay.

    1. @Dee Bee Trudeau is lying because he is told to do so. He knows what is going to be the outcome. He is well set for the next 25 years financially.. we have to ignore whatever he is saying and focus your mind body and spirit to take the last vagon of the life train..if the train passes by you….rince your mind , not hands

    1. Shani Nath the virus it’s everywhere anyways. Border closed or no coronavirus it’s in Canada and In USA

    2. Zenith I’m gonna repeat myself just for you… border closed or not Canada could see 22,000 coronavirus deaths even with the border closed.

  4. The world is slowly coming to the realisation that to protect themselves, keeping borders closed to the1% tested United States would be prudent.

  5. There is massive unemployment in Canada right now. There should be a ban on all immigration into Canada until unemployment numbers are at a minimum.

    1. There are many opportunities now, for health care workers, stores, warehouses, truckers, in Canada. The job that many Canadian don’t want to do.

    2. The immigrants are the ones who do HARD work in this country, most basic Jobs we need to keep the society going, too bad no locals want these jobs, so it’s not a problem or immigrants, it’s problem of laziness

  6. Borders closed = Canadians rest better knowing they are safe!!! Thank you Mr.Trudeau for keeping them closed

    1. @Mirella Vilela I am….thank you PM Trudeau, thank you premiers, for handling this nightmare like grown ups. That’s all I ask.
