  1. Trump is a marketer! That is why he pushed the last minute order to authorize the vaccine.
    He is against the effort.

    1. Debra,
Worse than that, he was probably told that the FDA was just hours away from announcing their approval of the vaccine, so Trump jumped in with his threat to fire the head of the FDA if he didn’t approve the vaccine that same day — which the FDA was going to do anyway. That SO sounds like something Trump would do, just so he could take credit for the approval.

  2. I’m amazed anyone would wait or want to hear anything from these inadequate fools. Sounds like many republicans are paranoid about this too. Pretty funny actually. I’m surrounded by idiots and will be getting the vaccine asap.

    1. @Dementia Joe (here’s a hint for american-speak: when your moniker is dementia, you lose credibility calling someone a moron) I know you’re russian, so just trying to make your miserable life less…nevsky prospekt, if you get my drift.

  3. I remember getting the polio vaccine at school in Australia in the early 70’s. I was really young. I remember it being pink and served up on a small square white plastic spoon. Back then the govt said, here take this vaccine, so you did. There was no such thing as an antivaxxer, there was none of this, you can’t take my freedom away crap. You took the vaccine and there was no polio. No measles, no whatever else it was. People these days are ridiculous.

    1. @Dementia Joe there is no research yet, there is no polio or small pox because of vaccines and no ones DNA was changed

    2. Our Conservative Government also took steps to reduce the number of guns in Australia following the Port Arthur Massacre and the US couldn’t get any meaningful gun legislation passed after 5 & 6 year olds were massacred in their elementary school. I think part of it is cultural. I don’t get this “freedom or death” stuff when more people dying is inevitable with the widespread infection of COVID in the US. By the end of this year, when the death toll hits 330k, 1 in every 1000 residents of the US who were alive on Jan 1st of this year will have died from COVID-19. It’s so bad, COVID-19 is now the leading cause of death in the US, surpassing heart disease and cancer. It’s abominable that so many have needlessly died and died alone, yet Trump’s answer about following his own Task Force’s guidelines is, well it is Christmas time. Like a virus is going to respect that it’s the holidays! Being a trained medical scientist I also can’t stand Trump taking credit for the speedy arrival of vaccines. They’ve been created using an entirely different platform for which there’s been years of research. And luckily scientists had already been studying the coronavirus spike protein for years as the last outbreak of SARS was also caused by a coronavirus. It’s been years of collective research. All he did was sign his name on cheques and orders placed in front of him.

    3. Ridiculous? Maybe. Most are just weird, bat crazy, mush brain lunatics, zombies, ignorant frothing-out-the-mouth flat-earthers. And some, just plain stupid.

    4. @Dementia Joe Nothing I already didn’t know. A colleague of mine suggested you look at a vid by “Dr Campbell, Live Lesson With Tanzania”

  4. Internet what an invention.. ..
I thought collection of knowledge was supposed to make us smarter………

  5. brilliantly said, ty dr maddow. t**** has been dragging his feet the whole way. purposely. i, for one, am anxiously awaiting my turn to get the vaccine! i miss my parents, children, grandchildren, and the rest of my family, and my friends! on another tac, i miss being able to ride the bus all day on super cold days, like the other oldtimers like me, lol. it is so nice and warm on there. i say this as the snow is due shortly, lol. but seriously, i remember taking that sugar cube with my whole family and the entire community. we did the same for the smallpox shot, everyone went, for the sake of our lives and the lives of our fellow Americans. we cared about one another back then, and cared about our nation. this is no less of a danger, in fact it is more so! take the d*** shot, be adults about it, do it for yourself and everyone you love, do it for our nation!

  6. The pseudoscience industry has already gotten rich on anti-vaxing propaganda. Homeopathy, Reiki, and so many other scams have scared people away from vaccines and toward their own phony remedies. 💰💰💰

  7. _”Vaccines turned me into newt. But, I got better”_

Many anti vaxxers have an irrational fear of needles, and this drives them to search for any (mis) information that will allow them to rationalize an avoidance of confronting this fear.

    1. And what about the fact that a lot of people carry Epipens to save their own life after going into an Anaphylactic state ? It even says , anyone that has experienced Anaphylaxis and carries an Epipen should not get the vaccine.

  8. I still remember being dragged kicking & screaming by my mother into the public health department when I was very young to get the oral polio vaccine on a sugar cube, nearly 50 years ago.

  9. After a while you start to believe with that whoever is in charge of PS5 distribution is also in charge of vaccine distribution

  10. Forget this administration. On Jan 20 we will have a real administration. With real goals, plans and objectives based on science.
