Trump Admits Talking To Ukraine Leader About Biden, Denies Explicit Quid Pro Quo | MTP Daily | MSNBC

  1. Trump hopes we get to see the call transcript soon, but he also said that he isn’t going to release it. I don’t understand that.

    1. @Brandon Rolfes — You’re partially correct. Presidents are entitled to a reasonable amount of privacy. But there’s a thin line that can be crossed over into illegalities, and it’s looking more and more like Trump has “crossed over” that line. Thank you for your comment, and for being civil. It’s getting rare, these days, as we are all becoming sensitive. Thanks again.

    2. @Alan G. Agreed it is harder to find. How would you feel this crossed the line? He said he was going to talk to them about Corruption and how the USA should not be giving money to countries if we cannot address corruption (at the UN interview). The left then interjected Biden into this and now somehow we have to give up the presidents conversations with a world leader? He never brought up Biden. The left did. Which leads me to believe their mindset is that Biden is corrupt?! The left created an issue of nothing, and now we have to give up conversations with world leaders? That does not make sense to me on any level.

    3. @Brandon Rolfes— “[Trump] never brought up Biden”? Dude, are you watching the news?? Go ahead, and check it out, and then come back to make a comment.

    4. @Brandon Rolfes At any rate, i think seeing the whistleblower complaint is more important than seeing the transcript for that call. The whistleblower complaint should come first.

    5. Brandon Rolfes You don’t even need to release the call. Just let Congress have the whistleblower report like the law demands. So why hasn’t he even done that?

    1. @Amen Knowtech Which fact would not be on my side? Let us start there. I was referring to the Mueller report and their findings were he is innocent. People get lost on his synopsis of everything at the end. It is irrelevant. In the USA, you are Innocent until proven guilty, and they did not find anything to charge him with guilt of…..So there is one fact on my side…..your turn….

    1. @Bmw EM He has no foreign affairs skill at all and wants to get a nobel prize for not engaging in war. Big talker but no action. He issued order for a military attack and then stopped it before it was being executed, and he expected to get a nobel peace prize for that. He is lying through his teeth and no one seems to care, but even a two year old can tell he is a fake. He didn’t even believe in the wall, but he only wanted to have it done because he had promised his voters, and he only does it because he wants them to vote for him again in 2020.

  2. Honestly, it’s time to stop him. This guy is mentally disintegrating on tv every day. It’s time to stop this disgusting pussygrabber and lock him up!

    1. Dishonestly, everything is fine. Trump is the most mentally fit of any president from all the histories. It’s time to laud Trump’s non-stop winning and promote him to Messiah.

  3. Trumps friend is Russia. I’m sure that little fact was brought up many times as leverage with the Ukrainian President.

  4. 1. A member of the intelligence community heard/read/discovered something that he/she believes might be either illegal or damaging to U.S. security.

    2. That person, in accordance with the 1998 Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act (ICWPA), reported his or her findings to the Inspector General (IG) for the U.S. Intelligence Community, Michael Atkinson.

    3. Atkinson found that the matters uncovered by the report were credible and of “urgent concern” — a legal term in this context — and in accordance with the ICWPA passed the findings and his judgment of the importance and “urgent concern” of the findings to the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Joseph Maguire.

    4. In a highly unconventional, perhaps unprecedented move, Maguire shared the findings with the Department of Justice — and the reasons for his reasons for that sharing are purely speculative.

    5. The ICWPA requires that after seven days, the DNI “shall” — not should or might, or do so with a redacted version — transmit the findings of the IG to the House Intelligence Committee. As DNI, Maguire is free to add his opinion of the source materials, of the findings, and of the IG’s opinion, but he is not allowed to modify them in any way.

    6. Maguire has not fulfilled his legal information-provision obligations under the ICWPA, having missed the seven-day deadline. He is legally exposed.

    7. The ICWPA also allows for the original “whistleblower” to take his or her information directly to the appropriate Congressional body, or for the IG to do so, should they so choose.

    1. Also, the exact same argument with his taxes. He hopes we get to see them because of how beautiful they are, but refuses to release them.

  5. Cirque du Soleil wants their orange clown back, but Donald Trump loves being the head of his own circus called the Republican Party!

    1. @Tessmage Tessera And I would have to look at it, but I was pretty sure a charge of Treason, would play out in court……

    2. @Brandon Rolfes You were the one who brought up impeachment, not me. But yes, you are correct about a charge of treason: Trump would be tried in a federal court, or possibly even a military court, depending upon the details of the allegations.

    1. Whistle blower? 4th hand information? He heard it from somebody that heard it from somebody on and on and on…that’s the corrupt Democrat media we have today!

  6. so they are *”threatening to ” subpoena* (again) ; why?? just DO it, and hold them all in JAIL until they comply! period.
