It was Extortion. Quid pro quo is a fair exchange. Bribery is more of an agreement. Extortion is when the other side has no choice in the matter, such as a country fighting in an actual war and being occupied by a much stronger enemy and they desperately need help to stay alive – it’s Extortion.
Edit: It was Bribery ‘and’ Extortion. Both cover what he was doing, bribing and extorting, but there is an additional element to it as well, and I am not sure if it is Treason or Sedition. *Trump tried to get a Foreign Power to attack the United States through a Presidential Election.* He worked and conspired to have an American former Vice President and the Presidential Election *attacked.* This must ‘not’ go unpunished.
