Trump Fires Four Inspectors General In Two Months | All In | MSNBC

Starting in the beginning of April, Trump has been firing the very people meant to hold his administration accountable, the inspectors general. But his latest firing may be the most provocative and perhaps the most clearly lawless yet. Aired on 05/18/2020.

    1. All of this is a reality tv show to him, that’s exactly how he approaches each minute of each day.

    1. “Can’t take 4 more years” -@Dalene Gragg

Too bad. You are goinna get 4 more.

And there is nothing you can do to stop it.

    1. @The Tweatles You do realize that the president once sued a comedian over a joke. Just thought you might like to know.

    2. @The Tweatles What does this comment have to do with thus segment, attacking another doesn’t make anything okay to abuse his power repeatly, to continue to rid of people for his own personal use, like a con, liar and 4 inspector generals, wow, fishy.

    1. @Anne Marie I’d have to be careful with the use of the term “responsible people”. As with the newly released classified documents, responsible people under the watch of the kenyan in the American White House were engaging in improper and illegal activities. Has it ever occurred to you that these IG’s have been that, “responsible people”.

    2. @Kesi Lame When you refer to Obama as “the kenyan”, you lose any credibility you hoped to have.

    3. @Kesi Lame . Has it ever occurred to you to specify the “improper and illegal activities” rather than just sounding like empty windbag Trump and making generalized accusations with nothing of substance behind them?
The truth about the IG’s is that they we’re keeping a close eye on Trump Administration activities for improprieties. To fire such people is the height of suspicious.

  1. What will he do when there is no over watch? He’s stupid…he will mess up and his day of reckoning will come.

    1. Winston : I named my pug “Winston” after Winston Churchill. He’s gone on to doggy heaven & I hope to meet up with him one day! Now I have a rambunctious chihuahua puppy named “Chica.”

  2. Wow tRump fires these Inspector Generals more often & frequently than I have my Baby Diaper changed! Just amazing at his speed!

  3. Sounds like something the most transparent honest and trustworthy Presidential administration in history would do. [Sarcasm intended]

    1. Fox is the Virus 😷 .
& It will destroy democracy .

  4. John Dean served as White House counsel to Nixon from 1970 to 73, he was a key figure in the Watergate saga—participating in, and then helping to expose, the most iconic political scandal in modern U.S. history at the time. Back in 2016, Dean said that Trump could easily be the most corrupt presidents ever—and possibly get away with it..

“The American presidency has never been at the whims of an authoritarian personality like Donald Trump,” Dean stated. “He is going to test our democracy as it has never been tested.”
Dean stated that he is not only convinced that Trump will be worse than Nixon in virtually every way—he thinks he could possibly get away with it.

“I used to have one-on-one conversations with Nixon, where I’d see him checking his more authoritarian tendencies,” Dean recalled. “He’d say, ‘This is something I can’t say out loud…’ or, ‘That is something the president can’t do.’” To Dean, these moments suggested a functioning sense of shame in Nixon, something he was forced to wrestle with in his quest for power. Trump, by contrast, appears to Dean, to be unmolested by any such struggle.”  Dean went even further in his assessment, stating: “I don’t think Richard Nixon even comes close to the level of corruption we already know about Trump.”

  5. Trump is running his administration the same way he ran his casinos, his fake university, and his fake charity foundation. It’s all smoke and mirrors, and sanctioned lawlessness.

Inspectors Generals serve as independent watchdogs. They are responsible for investigating crimes and wrongdoing within our government, which makes them an immediate and existential threat to a career criminal and con-man like Trump. Trump is going after anyone and anything that poses a threat to him and his swamp.

“Donald Trump’s presidency has raised a question that many of us never thought we’d be    asking: Is our democracy in danger? Harvard professors Steven Levitsky and Daniel Ziblatt have spent more than twenty years studying the breakdown of democracies in Europe and Latin America, and they believe the answer is yes. Democracy no longer ends with a bang—in a revolution or military coup—but with a whimper: the slow, steady weakening of critical institutions, such as the judiciary and the press, and the gradual erosion of long-standing political norms. The good news is that there are several exit ramps on the road to authoritarianism. The bad news is that, by electing Trump, we have already passed the first one..”

    1. Trump is President and he has the right to fire the Obamas deep state creatures, but more important he was elected to do it, u can write a million of pages but at the end the MAGA agenda is working, jobs for everybody is what America needs. Dems are crazy thinking in a vaccine and 18 months without jobs. So to drain the swam, its welcome.

    2. Did we expect anything different ???
Fox Zombie slaves picked the worst human being alive today.

  6. The real question should read & be : Do you think tRump will ever be held accountable for his malfeasance & criminal corruption after the November 3rd Elections or when he’s outta office?

    1. The only way Trump escapes prosecution after the American voters show him the door is if he escapes to Russia. That’s what a corrupt Putin-puppet president of Ukraine did to escape prosecution not so long ago after he was outed by a popular uprising. You can bet that just such an escape plan was part of Trump’s deal with Putin.

    2. @Anne Marie is that an excerpt from the disavowed muller report which muller, brennan, clapper, rice and others in the kenyan administration testified when under oath and said there was no collusion between the Russians and the Trump Campaign according to newly released classified documents.

    3. @Mimi Oh report to the fbi any criminal wrongdoing with evidence that President Trump was responsible for their deaths. You face a very daunting and difficult task, so do yourself a favour and rest.

    4. @Kesi Lame The only avalanche coming in November is a Democratic avalanche way bigger than 2018’s. The Republican party has been destroyed by Trump and his cult!

  7. Fascism on the March, my Friends, Trump is up to 4-1/2 out of 5 Benitos. Just wait for the extra-judicial killings to start and he’ll score a perfect 5.

    1. He should have been dragged off that stage in Helsinki by his fake hair and tried for treason immediately.

    1. because we no longer live in a Democracy. The politicians only listen to those who are able and willing to pay for there services.

  8. Didn’t he used to say “you’re fired” all the time on “The Apprentice”………he thinks running the country is a game too…….sigggghhhhh

  9. What do you suppose the finders fee for a $460 billion arms deal would be?? Guess we’ll never know now.
