That’s why they ask for race on surveys. So they can figure out the specific needs and opinions from each race. That’s how we learn what black people are thinking lol, by asking them.
What’s the difference between saying “a black” or “an African American” though?
If you ask ask a black person what race we are we’ll likely say “I’m black” or “I’m an African American”. I don’t see how adding “a” to “I’m black” makes it racist.
