Sally Aiken, the president of the National Association of Medical Examiners, called the allegation “ridiculous.”
“Death certificates are basically federal, and each state has a public health division that answers to the [U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] for death certification,” Aiken, the Spokane County, Washington, medical examiner, told us in an email. “For all practical purposes death certification is directed by the feds, via health departments.”
“Medical Examiners and Coroners certify hundreds to thousands of deaths each year, using investigation, autopsies, and medical tests as required, and do not choose a ‘default diagnosis’ such as COVID-19.”
Aiken added that CDC offers guidance to public health officials on the certification of COVID-19 deaths. The latest guidance was issued April 2.
“If COVID–19 played a role in the death, this condition should be specified on the death certificate. In many cases, it is likely that it will be the [underlying cause of death], as it can lead to various life-threatening conditions, such as pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS),” the guidance says. “In these cases, COVID-19 should be reported on the lowest line used in Part I with the other conditions to which it gave rise listed on the lines above it.” (Read more here from FactCheck.org)

Trump is the “Liar in Chief.” I have been reading Cohen’s book which outlines all of Trump’s deeds. Cohen comes clean with all of the cheating that Trump undertook to get elected. He states he was all for Trump running even knowing that Trump was amoral, a bully, and not really qualified to be President, but thought he might rise to the office. Cohen states that Trump was Cohen’s ticket to the WH & power, but he did not think about the damage Trump would due to the nation. Trump wants to emulate Putin. After all he controls over 25% of the wealth in Russian and is effectively leader for life at this point. Putin is a dictator that controls the media, power, and the wealth and uses the oligarchs like Trump is using the GOP. Trump has no regard for anyone and is in the office not for a patriotic purpose, not to “drain the swamp,” not to help the American economy (only the Stock market where he and the wealthy invest to make money). He is in it to increase his wealth. When he decided to run he was at a low state financially (at least for him). His wealth was and is no where close to where he claims it to be. He cheats on taxes by deflating the worth of his properties and claiming losses. In fact one year, according to Cohen, he received a 10 million dollar refund check from the IRS and called Cohen to his office. He held up the check and told Cohen, Can you believe how xxxxing stupid the IRS is?! Before you go off on the line that Cohen is a liar because of a lie he told to Congress to protect himself and Trump, Cohen put a quote from the Mueller report (footnote 909 in volume 2) that stated the testimony given to investigators while under oath was substantiated/ corroberated by other evidence gathered by investigators and Cohen co-operated fully. Cohen had nothing to lose when writing his book and explained his was trying to regain himself. Like those who blindly follow him and will do anything he requests whether immoral, illegal, basically something they know to be wrong, he was caught up in the Trump charisma and ability to manipulate. People close to Trump do his bidding to avoid the wrath and disapproval of Trump. They know he has the means to not only harass, but to damage them in some way, most often financially by destroying their businesses. Cohen indicated he has been replaced by William Barr, Kuschner, Jim Jones and many others as well as all those in Congress who are AFRAID to speak the truth. Reality and truth is not of any use to Trump. He lives by what he decrees is the truth even when it is easily proved to be incorrect. Anyone who attempts to correct his statements will be dealt with in a harsh manner. Trump is more than a bully and incompetent to be President. He is an ill individual who has always been told he was correct no matter what and continues to be enabled by the GOP. He is a danger to our Democratic Republic and wants to bacome it’s leader like Putin, or even Kim Jung-Un.
