    1. Why doesn’t Trump ‘welcome this kind of examination[taxes]’?
“I welcome this kind of examination, because people have got to know whether or not their president is a crook. Well, I am not a crook.” – Richard Nixon

Nixon’s tax bill: $471,431 plus interest

    2. @Roger Andersson If Trump gets killed in prison, will you be sad..? The rest of us will be having a huge party.

    3. @Tessmage Tessera Sounds like you’re out of foud stamps…..you’re nothing but a poor miserable freak….Trump will end your life…..

  1. Yet *another* ‘beyond-shameful sidenote’ for #45 that the civilised world’s historians *are duly notating* with wry sorrow.
    #45 – *So* very embarrassing for America… 😒

    1. @Roger Andersson The sheer fact that so many of you condone this lawlessness is abhorrent. If Obama had refused to show his birth certificate you would have had a come apart. Y’all wouldnt leave that man alone for 8 years and his name is still brought up any chance to deflect from what Trump does. If the House or the Senate demands them, he will have no choice but to supply them. If he’s doing what he’s supposed to be doing then all will be fine.

    2. @Hope Constance – At his rally in FL, #45 denigrated immigrants…then *laughed* at his followers cries of “Shoot them!”
      The *worst* part of it…?
Looking past #45’s right shoulder during that *disgusting* display…at *the two small children* hearing those words as they’re spoken, and how *visibly confused and frightened they become* as the crowd jeers along.
Like the little blonde girl at his ill-willed rally in NC, looking bewilderedly *at* the ‘adults’ surrounding her, as *they shout* “Send her back!”, over and over.
*THAT* is #45’s *lurid* ‘legacy’, preserved *forever* on video…and for historians *to document* with both dismay *and* sadness.
      #45 – *So* embarrassing for America… 😒

    3. @Hope Constance There is no law requiring Trump to publicly release his tax returns, federal law of IRS Code section 6103(f) . Pelosi, Schumer and the other 498 criminals on Capitol Hill better hope Trump doesn’t decide to look into all the ill gotten gains they’ve accumulated since their election. 400 millionaires in Congress and many didn’t come to DC wealthy. Drain the swamp and burn it down. My god….you’re really stupid……

  2. Who is paying his legal fees? The party that used to demonize trial lawyers is turning into one with deep pockets, Taxpayers are getting hit twice with some of the lawsuits. The decision to support the declaration that the ACA is unconstitutional has Americans paying for the govt to take away their health care. Arguing it as constitutional suggests the taxpayers may be on the hook. He has been using tax-deductible campaign contributions for his legal fees which is questionable if it is in support of financial gain for Trump.. With Barr acting as Trump’s lawyer instead of DOJ he owes us an accounting of how much he is spending on probing the start of the Russia investigations, the vendetta against McCabe and other actions to benefit Trump at the expense of taxpayers.

  3. Just a simple question: WHY? Why not let the people see the returns? Why fight it at every instance? If there is nothing to hide, release them and get it over with. Unless…..

    1. @Drew Oliver now THAT is funny!!! You think we are all as dense as you??? That case was from 1880!!!!!!!! 44 years before the Teapot-Dome scandal that changed laws like the Federal Corrupt Practices Act of 1925 and the Revenue Act of 1924 by the US Supreme Court.
Here, something to read for you. Learn, inform yourself:

one of thousands of web sites that prove you wrong.

    2. @Drew Oliver OK, one more time (still don’t know if you are that dense by nature or you pretend)
Here is the relevant passage from Y.O.U.R. link: “Because the investigative power derives implicitly from the Constitution’s vesting of legislative power in
the Congress, congressional inquiries must be undertaken “in aid of the legislative function.” This
“legislative purpose” requirement is relatively generous, and authorizes inquiry into any topic upon which
legislation could be had, including attempts by Congress to inform itself for purposes of determining how
laws function, whether new laws are necessary, and whether Congress should repeal or alter old laws.
Congress may also exercise its “power of inquiry” for the purposes of conducting government oversight
to ensure compliance with, and proper administration of, existing law.”
I really hope that clears it up for you. It’s simple wording, so it should be understandable, even for you.
Your attempt to pull a fast one simple backfired on you..

    3. @Sean Taschler – And it’s about to get *so much worse* for #45… 😏
*Every* state, *every* bank, *every* insurance company and *every* country that #45’s *lied to* in his filings *ARE* ‘comparing notes’…and *finding* ‘faults’.
And *soon* #45’s life becomes…a *neverending nightmare* of litigations and losses. 💸📑👋

  4. Ask him when he’ll release his taxes everyday and remind him of his campaign promise. …not that it will matter.

    1. Mike, that’s a great idea. How about they say, ‘we will not cover you until you release your taxes’. He will implode in 48 hours.

    2. @Francis Conners – Meanwhile…
*’Snowflake #45’* had *yet another ‘twittyfeed tantrum’* today, whining about how ‘unfair’ *everyone’s* been *to* him. 🍼👶🍼
      Poor put-upon prezzy… 😏

  5. Imagine how Trump would have reacted if Obama had taken legal action to prevent his birth certificate being produced? If you don’t have anything to hide, you don’t have to worry about Trump …..

  6. He knows that if he makes it a constitutional issue it will rise to the supreme court, where the federalist society agents embedded will support whatever position the right wing fringe advocate.

    1. @drew. Did you seriously mean that???? “It” who wasn’t elected By The People in the 1st place IS NOT just a citizen. He was put into office by the Electoral College and Russia. In other words… $$$$$$$$$$. That being said “It” is not part of the general population

  7. He is hiding something. He is so desperate to keep them hidden. He doesn’t want his supporters know he has been lying to them this whole time.

  8. Trump’s tax return is just like the toilet paper sticking to his shoe while climbing Air Force 1.
    But this one stinks.

  9. All Trump does is sue people instead if abiding by the laws of our nation as all other Presidents have done since George Washington.
