@01howdoidothis – So the media is fake until they say something you agree with? The people and testimony may be real, that doesn’t mean the story is. It is like the affidavits Trump and his minions keep referring to. Just because you get people to make a statement under oath doesn’t mean it is true. People can say whatever they want in a documentary. Do you have any actual evidence that THIS election was hacked or fraudulent in any way? So we’re all the races where Republicans won House, Senate and local races fraudulent too or was it just the Presidential election?
@Sky Delight – I read the Bible because I grew up a Christian and was a Christian minister. I read the Qu’ran after I left Christianity and after 9/11 because I happened to be an eyewitness to what happened at the Pentagon on 9/11 and wanted to see if the Qu’ran said what people claimed it said. Those books actually don’t possess scientific evidence for God’s existence, his creation nor his purpose of creation. Those are things typically said by people who haven’t actually read them. Do you really believe that the Sun and Moon stood still when Joshua commanded them to? Do you believe in the Great Flood? Do you believe that the Earth was formed before the Sun and Moon as described in Genesis? Do you believe man was formed from the dirt (or Earth depending on your reading of the Bible) or a clot of blood as described in the Qu’ran? I do hope you enjoy reading the Torah. It does get pretty boring at times so good luck. I don’t have high hopes for “The Case for Christ” but who knows, I might be surprised.
Yes, I would say that reading both had a positive impact on my belief and practice since reading them helped me become an atheist. I considered that to be a positive thing because I no longer believe in fairy tales. Cheers!
