  1. What they fail to understand is that they might think it’s good for our country to follow one religion with no choice what if that choice isn’t the religion you subscribe to that could happen someday and they made it happen. Be careful what you ask for.

Please understand this: Blue no matter who simply means that ANY DEMOCRAT would be better than a well known repuke. Got it?

    1. @Bradyn Lotterman yeah, take your maga hat and your delusions and get a good night’s sleep. Unless you’re in the 1 per cent in which case I will agree with you

  2. Yes let’s look around the world for countries where religious nationalism rules. Such nice places 😐

    1. @Clyde C McElroy I’ve been there , It’s a close as it gets to being a good example of notional religion working

  3. Preachers have been preaching hatred for a long, long time now, turning their sights on “the other” and getting more and more specific at who all that includes. Some religion.

    1. Fundamentalist Christianity and fundamentalist Islam: two sides of the same coin.
      A pox on both!

    2. @ULTRA MAGA! I don’t know his name. Not being American, or within thousands of miles of America, I’m not au fait with such reprehensible sorts. It shouldn’t be too hard – God knows (no pun intended), there seems to be no shortage of profoundly wicked wolves masquerading as preacher sheep in your nation.

  4. We need to hear more on this topic. What can happen. What to expect. What to do about it. With the Supreme Court involvement it doesn’t look good.

    1. @Suzanne Spitulski You’re welcome. My wife and I spent the last seven years (pre-covid) ministering at a women’s prison (CCCF) in Wilsonville, Oregon. It only took a few minutes to post. …In kindness

  5. First Amendment of the U.S Constitution:
Congress shall make no law regulating an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise of religion.

“Leave the matter of religion to the family altar, the church, and the private school, supported entirely by private contributions. Keep the church and state forever separate.”
    –Ulysses S Grant

    1. @Devil’s Advocate what are the “2 biggest miracles in the bible”? And what does that have to do with anything… that’s not proof of your “god”.

They are the proofs of my god.

    2. @Tom Ceman well… I asked you for the example… since it’s your claim. Either you have one or you don’t and we can move on.

    3. @Tom Ceman a miracle that you can’t confirm is not proof of anything… much less your “god”. And even if you could confirm them… that’s only evidence for the miracle.

    4. @Tom Ceman and I will mention… the amount of people that believe something have no affect on whether it’s true or not.

  6. This nation was NOT founded on Christianity. In fact, the founders made it very clear about a separation of church and state.

  7. Do so called “Christian Nationalists” promote the Jesus way? I think not. If they did we’d hear them proclaiming this philosophy: take care of the disadvantaged, heal the sick, be the good samaritan, demonstrate hospitality, and above all, don’t cherry pick the 10 commandments.

    1. @Clyde C McElroy You are right that he didn’t force anybody to believe him, but he also said tbay those who don’t believe on him will go to hell.

    2. @Bradyn Lotterman
I never mentioned race. However, certainly the rules applied differently to Hebrew males and non-Hebrews.

    1. @Michael you are right, however no one can force their non-belief on people. That is freedom of religion. Freedom from religion doesn’t exist

  8. I’ve always opposed islamist and extremist groups overseas, and I will always oppose radical christian nationalists in America, cos they have the same ideals and goals – to enforce their conservative religious ideologies upon the masses by any means necessary.

    1. @NPC 8648 Sorry, I must’ve misread your comment or responded to the wrong person. I agree with what you’re saying. God bless.

    2. @Fish Tank 🐟 greatest nation on earth? We rank horribly in all metrics contributing to quality of life. How do we compare against western europe or canada?

We have lower life expectancy, worse education, higher homicide rates, higher maternal mortality. We rank lower in democracy index. We rank lower in freedom indexes. We have more homeless and more people living under the poverty line. We have higher rate of substance abuse. We have horrendous mental health support. Our healthcare in general is more expensive yet worse on average than any of those countries.

Where exactly do we excel? Military power and prison population?

    3. @G D caveman, living in small groups of Hunter gathers, no laws or morals just the jungle, and instinct to live by, no shame, no regret, and definitely no time to talk about gender lol, avg life span 20

  9. I prefer that America be defined as a “melting pot” that offers opportunity to all people, not just Christians.

    1. @Palepride Worldwide ok.. the ‘bad’ in ‘bad people” – bad = bad, not a color or age or ethnicity or wealth level. Fear is what drives people to attempt to see bad before it happens – thus falsely equating it to some other adjective. Don’t fear bad – stand up for good. Fight bad. Don’t live in such fear of bad that you see it where it isn’t. My opinion.

    2. @Kevin Allen 😆 listen I have lived with them. You can’t lie to me. I’m just thankful a few cared enough to validate my pov. Be careful who you associate with and your loved ones. I do.

  10. The US was made a thing by people who wanted to escape a society bound to one church.
Binding the People to one church kind of undoes everything we have taken and everything we have sacrificed to get to where we are today.
It’s a slap in the face to all of the people who have suffered horrible fates on all sides. That’s not an easy task.

  11. “The Government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion.”

    – The Treaty Of Tripoli, signed by President John Adams and ratified by the United States Senate on June 7th, 1797

  12. The crazy part is the whole Christian faith is based on a choice, you choose to be Christian, not forced

    1. @WARRIOR OF GOD Jesus died so that we didn’t feel the wrath of God. That’s why he was the ultimate sacrifice…none more after that!

  13. Just remember the guy who headed the former Administration broke all 10 Commandments probably within a week

    1. @WARRIOR OF GOD Sorry no. While we may all be sinners we are supposed to try to do better… and NO most don’t go around breaking them so often and openly. Trump claims Christianity when it’s convenient for him.

  14. Our founders created separation of church and state so that no one religion was elevated above others, to foster a multitude of religious belief.

  15. “A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices.”
    _George Orwell

  16. “If Jesus came back today and saw what goes on in his name, he’d never stop throwing up.” — Max Von Sydow movie line

    1. Lukewarm christians will be rebuked and Jesus will spit you out of his mouth.

    2. OK president DONALD Trump EMRICEN prizident and WORLD OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK

    3. @Jorge of Albion yes, and NONE of the Framers were “originalsts”, wanna know why?
Because they wrote into the document a way to AMENDED it.
