Not so fast. Tyrants playbook: cause enough chaos long enough for government to be deemed useless. Install a propaganda machine. Discredit and dismantle free press. Blame a vulnerable minority for all the woes of your world. Sidestep the legislative and judicial branches of government. Bring out your own brown shirts and control the streets. @Mz 456 Bottom line is, I am a firm believer that if the government does its job, then the people should abide by their rules. If the Feds don’t do their job, who’s going to support their rules? Their jurisdiction only matters as much as the people value it, and right now with millions of people sick of the Coronavirus and a Civil Rights movement at a boiling point and the Feds not doing flack about it, I’d say that the more violent protesters’ reaction was fitting for the lives lost.
