Why is this news? This medication is the same one that a lot of people in my hospital are recovering with. Stuff has been used for 60 years. I guess they can’t make money off of something that is already patented.

The conman must have tried various pharmaceuticals that rejected millions of his hydroxychloroquine dead end offer. The drug has proven to be lethal and is contraindicated by the FDA, the NCID, the WHO and the MA. No physician can prescribe it.
Even if there were sufficient pharmacokinetics, this dangerous drug is not part of any protocol for COVID-19.

Most places will not give it to someone who has a heart condition. If you ever been to Africa?which I’m going to presume you haven’t. Or been outside the US in general. People take this traveling to other countries were malaria is common as a preemptive measure. Most of the side effect are migrated by a lower dose.

@Keith Remedy you’re right, there are reports it helping to alleviate the virus to a point. But all these reports make it quite clear that it only helps if taken in conjunction with z-pack. And they won’t give it to people with certain preexisting conditions.
