Here in the U.K. testing for Covid-19 is free of charge. If a person is found unable to work they are entitled to a minimum of $500.00 per month sick pay. In America I’ve seen people obviously ill serving in shops, restaurant, relying on tips to make money. Theses low waged people can’t afford NOT to work. Without being alarmist, this is a perfect way to spread infection. It’s to be hoped the American government has a plan for testing, quarantine, and importantly who will pay? Most hourly paid workers need two jobs, just to make ends meet. They will be the ones who will need the most support.
