@kenneth humpf off topic, but we all know he’s doing everything he can to suppress the vote. He stated it a couple months back, if everyone voted, the Republican party would never win an election. More people voting scares Trump. It’s why I volunteer and call people to get them registered to vote, it’s why I’ll give classes in October to teach people how to fill out mail-in ballots and it’s why I will drive people to their polling station on election day. You want him out, do everything you can to find like minded people and make commitments to each other to get out and vote. Every vote counts everywhere.
Trump has basically been running a RE Ponzi scheme for years. Instead of defrauding investors, he is defrauding banks. He was running a sham school and had to repay like 24 million in tuition and fines. He along with his kids set up a cancer charity in New York and stole the $$$. @hans kasper We’re already in a recession, literally the worst economic performance since the great depression. The US going into another depression isn’t impossible regardless of who wins. But the US has more tools at it’s disposal than it did in the twenties and thirties. The problem is that Trump isn’t using them and isn’t addressing the root causes that are preventing people from working. Ramp up testing, make it so anyone can get a test regardless of whether they are symptomatic or not and increase the speed of results from days or weeks to hours; start doing contact tracing; issue a Federal Mandatory Mask order and another stay at home order (but this time actually enforce it and keep it up until the curve flattens). These are things that would work and we know they would because other countries that have used them have gotten their cases under control. South Korea had more cases in the beginning than us in the same relative time period but by aggressively testing, contact tracing and making masks mandatory right from the start they got it under control so quickly they never even needed to shut down businesses.
