  1. You have a game show host with zero experience in government telling you what arguably the most powerful country in the world needs to do during a raging pandemic. Wtf could possibly go wrong?

    1. @Pierre Delecto cope with this…he already lost. The anti Trump vote will bury him. He’s an incompetent mess.

    2. You’ll note that MAGAts never use a real name. Too embarrassed to stand behind their idiocy.

    3. @Pierre Delecto proud to have this imaginary infection made up by you clown to make you feel better

  2. In virtually every other country in the world government leaders are flat to the boards to work through this, while Trump watches TV and Tweets… He doesn’t know how to WORK

    1. i can get that you don’t like dt, but you reveal yourselves as lying partisan hacks. it is amusing to watch you shoot yourselves in the foot. pr people for the dnc—literally

    1. How about this is what you get when you train a LOT of your citizens to believe that a reality-TV executive can become the real thing.

  3. Trump has now killed 74,000 Americans through sheer incompetence.

But don’t worry, that won’t deter him from killing even more!!!

    1. @Chris Gill No the governers who shut down their states saved lives. If Trump had his way (Still comparing covid to the flu until the 24th of March and wanting to reopen by easter, 12th of April) then there would be millions dead by now.

    2. @Football Nerd You can’t have it both ways dude… Stick to something you know, like football.

    3. @Chris Gill Have what both ways? The US has 74,000 deaths which would be higher if it weren’t for the governers locking down.

If Trump was in charge he would not have locked down those states as early as the governers did.

California locked down on the 19th of March.
New Jersey and Illinois 21st or March
      New York 22nd of March
Washington, Connecticut, Louisiana, Massachusetts and Oregon 23rd of March.

Trump asked on the 24th of March why States were locking down saying “We never shut the country down for flu”.

So clearly, if Trump had his way the situation would have been allowed to get way more out of control before anything was done.

Also in terms of reopening, Trump endorsed protesters and said he wanted the country to reopen by Easter (the 12th of April).

Trump may not have power to lockdown/reopen states but he does have influence on both governers and the public.

He undermined the states which locked down early and undermined them again when they wanted to remain in lockdown to avoid a 2nd wave. That will have undoubtedly caused more deaths in the way of protesters, people ignoring lockdown restrictions and pressure on governers to keep their states open.

Despite all that though Trumps biggest failure in my opinion was just to allow governers to do what they liked. This is a national problem which required national co-ordination to find a good solution. By absolving himself of any responsibility the US has ended up with a patchwork response. It is now a mess of some states in full lockdown, some in partial lockdown, some reopened and some who never went into lockdown at all! People are travelling between the states so if one states has full lockdown and a enighbouring state has reopened then obviously people from teh full lockdown state are going to drive to the neighbouring one to use the gym or have a nice day out.

Most other heavily affected countries who have used national co-ordination are beginning to get their outbreaks under control and will safely reopen in about a months time.

The US is going to experience mini-outbreaks and mini 2nd waves as it recovers from this and as such it won’t be safe for the country to fully reopen for many months yet.

    4. @Football Nerd Well, most of that is absolute rubbish. But I get it, you are simply regurgitating what you’ve heard the talking heads say.
Of course, I didn’t comment on any of that, I commented on your ridiculous comment that stated:
“Trump has now killed 74,000 Americans through sheer incompetence.”

I would have had far more respect for you if you had said that your comment was hyperbole, and then gone on to present your series of regurgitated “best guess” science factoids and orange man bad MSM news stories.
You know, there is absolutely no evidence that social distancing, face masks made of old underwear, and lockdowns effect the spread of COVID in any significant way. Sorry, it’s just not science, at least yet. And there are certainly qualified doctors with alternative theories on what the best approach to take to combat this virus.

I am curious, though, how many lives do you think the WHO is responsible for? CDC?
What about all the other deaths around the world? Are the leaders of those countries responsible for all of the deaths in their countries due to “sheer incompetence”, as well?

Your comment is ridiculous and will remain ridiculous until you apply some rational thought to it, and admit you have a touch of TDS, and that you might have been over exaggerating a little bit, and instead argue YOUR OPINION that he could have done things differently and saved more lives.
Again, I will point out that the estimate was for 2.2 Million Dead Americans by June or July… Why won’t you give him credit for saving what is looking like over 2 Million American Lives??? Or better yet, just maintain an objective, rational position? TDS that’s why. Orange man bad syndrome!
Unfortunately, you stuck to your guns/comment, tried to defend it, and still sound ridiculous because you can’t think rationally.
To answer your question, “Have what both ways?”, as if it isn’t obviously clear, you can’t say that governors saved lives and then those that died under those same governor controlled areas are a result of Trump’s “sheer incompetence”. Can you not see the cognitive dissonance there? It also makes it sound like you think that if, say, Obama was still president that there would have been ZERO Deaths, because that’s what presidents do! Obviously, any sane, reasonably educated person, would understand that this is not how infection control works.
Get a grip…for your own well being.

    1. @Bob Loblaw there’s literally no science in social distancing. Your body needs to build immunities. Go outside and stop playing pretend 😂 the jig is up bro you can keep holding on but millions of Americans have gone on with their lives and aren’t getting sick

    2. @Bodie Morphs Two days ago you were out? Uh huh, the incubation period can be up to 14 days and then there’s the possibility that you yourself could be a carrier. This is has been told to people like you ad nauseum. Stuck on stupid Typhoid Marys everywhere.

    1. Kim Van Metre this is about changing America this is about stripping AMERICANS of their rights and freedoms. THAT’S why they leave 45 in office

    2. Teardown Dan what a shame pence won’t. He will go down with him!! Hope it was worth it!!

    3. Because they can’t. They are encouraging doctors to label all deaths as covid and the number of deaths still aren’t enough. The number of deaths to confirmed cases is around 4%. Go outside and get some sun. Was at the gym two days ago lots of healthy people excercising with no masks. Y’all are letting your hate for Trump blind you

    4. Using the 25th amendment only works if enough cabinet members were honorable, intelligent, truthful and patriotic leaders. Unfortunately none of cabinet members have any of these traits. The Republican Party should be dismantled, and its leaders should be prosecuted and incarcerated.

    5. @Bodie Morphs You’ve let your total lack of basic logic blind you and deafen you all your life, evidently. STFU.

  4. Trump is about to take his gaslighting to a whole new level.

Tell the Republitards that the US is beating coronavirus and they’ll actually believe him! Now matter how many coffins start stacking up

  5. _”The United States is reporting more than 72,000 coronavirus deaths (and still rising), _*_more than any other country”_*
*WOO-HOO!!! USA! USA! More winning thanks to The OrangeAnus (R – Impeached)!*

    1. @Salli Francis check your latest news – you had it in December-Why is Fort Detricks shut down?

    2. @Salli, So why are countries that got the virus at the same time already reporting just minimal
      infections while American rates
      are exploding? Because Trump
denied the problem letting it get out of control.

    3. @Lana Kahl Totally right, I dont know why America doesn hold him responsible for the death toll. Chine (the place where this is sugested that it started) has all but erradicated it becasue they acted responsibly post the event. Ameria and DT – fingers in ears. He really hasnt got a clue in my minds eye

    4. @Robin Hood It was the dems who denied the problem, but as usual they try to deflect their B.S. onto Trump. Hateful losers. Stop watching the leftist news propaganda, it’s rotting your brain.

    5. @Salli Francis You forget ” it will suddenly disappear” did a Chinese person say that????

  6. Ah the “War Time” President… It’s amazing to me seeing how a Draft dodger handles a war he can’t dodge.

    1. Hey, if Trump had gone to Vietnam the US would have won that war…

Well, as long as he had gone to Nth Vietnam

  7. This is exhausting. I feel like I’m riding a psychotic horse to a burning stable….

  8. once again, a Democratic president is going to inherit a destroyed economy/country. he’ll bring it back to normal and then the Republicans will f**k it up again.

    1. @Michele Kett Nothing is pretty about the history of ALL of mankind. As long as there is evil on the earth, there will be problems. Capitalism is still better than communism as long as men are not greedy. Yes there are problems with our government agencies, yet we are still the leader of the free world and people from poorly run countries still want to come here. Trump is not about greed and power like many politicians. He said many times he was set in life and had no need to put up with the headaches of the Presidency, but he was tired of government corruption. The problem is the biased media hates him and is doing everything in their power to stop change for the better, The dems want control of the country. They say for everyone to benefit, but that’s a lie. Look what they promise the blacks but never deliver. Any nation will prosper if the people remain righteous, but the world’s moral values have decreased on so many levels and mankind has already begun to pay the cost for allowing wickedness to prevail.

    2. Richard Christianson as long as we allow evil to play out it will be here. If you’ve listened to Trump, you may have heard him say that he liked how the North Koreans behaved toward Kim,that he’d like to be like a i and be able to be president for life, how he was the ‘chosen one’, that he could do anything he liked under the Constitution, and more importantly, just 2 weeks ago the ‘I take no responsibility for anything’ in regard to the loss of life in your country because of his refusal to take coved-19 seriously. At one his ‘make me feel good’ rallies, It’s a Democrat’s hoax’, and all the other crap he spews out about it. In February he played golf, went overseas, did nothing to make America ready for what has happened. The ‘greatest country in the world’ now is being overwhelmed because he is an ignorant self centred oaf who doesn’t give a flying 🖕about the country and the people in it. It’s sad watching so much suffering but even sadder that so called intelligent people like yourself think that Trump is there to make America great again. Nothing he’s done supports that argument.

    3. @Michele Kett And the dems would be any better? Sorry with all the attacks, lies and hatred shown by them and reading the comments of those who have been indoctrinated by the fake news, left biased media, I’ll stick with Trump. He’s not perfect but he’s better than the alternative.

    4. @Deeken Wheeler The pandemic shutdown is this bad because Trump twittered away two months in which we could have been preparing. He bungled this nine ways to Sunday.

    5. @Deeken Wheeler The economy was doing well back in 2014 when Obama was getting quarterly GDPs as high as 5.2% & a 4.7% unemployment rate down from 10%. Trump has never achieved GDPs higher than 3%. The national debt exploded, the deficit exploded in less than two years into the Trump administration after inheriting a shrinking deficit & a stable economy. According to the Board of Labor Statistics, Obama has created MORE jobs than Trump during the same three year period. Trump has been lying to us. Now this economy is his because he called it a hoax.

  9. Why should Americans sacrifice themselves for a draft dodging president who wasn’t willing to make any sacrifices for our country?

    1. @Kelvin Bergsten _ Hate runs deep in you. My grandma use to say hate will eat you from the inside out. Let the hate go and take the blinders off so you can see the truth.

    2. @Kelvin Bergsten _ I know hate when I read it. Can’t run a bingo game . That’s hate Trump had the best economy in fifty years. Don’t say anything about Obama because the data doesn’t support Obama’s economy. You tell me what Trump has done for Americans is a myth? But I guess you know it’s not you just can’t admit it.

    3. @Pete Smith You do know it was the middle of summer in Australia when the pandemic broke out. You can’t compare the two countries. It doesn’t work like that. Why would you even try. We are told to listen to the scientist. There model had the death’s in the millions. Are they incompetent also? You are a hater and that’s not a good thing. When the TDS kicks in with the hate you won’t be able to stop it.

lf you think Trump is such a bad President show me the proof. Facts with proof to support it. No opinions from you or the MSM. I’ll be waiting. show me I don’t think you can.

    4. Brian Daniels that Trump seems to be right (to you and to me) about reopening, doesn’t mean that other people are blinded by hate. Trump deserves criticism for his egomaniacal attitudes. And he is safe wherever he goes. He is tested several times a day. The only risk he runs is that he could selfmedicate when he gets a flu.

  10. “Donald trump’s credibility has been damaged” by his podium ‘appearances’…..that ship sailed long ago.

  11. Why should Americans “get back to work” when DT has not put in an honest day’s work since this crisis emerged?

    1. @Bodie Morphs
You are a breath of fresh air thank you. Check out documentary “out of the shadows” https://youtu.be/MY8Nfzcn1qQ
I showed this to my hardcore leftist sisters, I don’t want to change their minds. I want them to question why? Why do I think the way I do?

    2. @Paul D – “We know that you’re drunk. It’s hard to imagine someone being as stupid as you and not being drunk or high.”

  12. He sees a prosperous economy as the only way he’ll get elected so he really couldn’t care less how many lives that costs.

    1. How do you regain a robust economy if your staff are sick and your customers are either sick, dead, or to scared to come out. The economy was going to pretty much shut down either way

  13. “Unsteady?” I’d call it disastrous, callous, incompetent, deadly, arrogant, just anything that gets across how malevolent his attitude has been through all of this.

    1. That’s because he is ill he really is, he ticks every single box for Paranoid Narcissistic Sociopath. Its that simple

    2. @James Blanshard Agreed! I’ve been saying this since before he was elected and I’m not American. I can’t get my head around his cronies not trying to step in to stop him for the sake of your country. I feel so so sorry for whats happening and whars to come. I’m in Scotland where the loses are relatively small but our lockdown is gonna last at least another 3 weeks. Grateful for that but thinking of you all as a nation.

  14. Trump did promise he’d run the USA like one of his own businesses. That means that by the time he’s done, America will be broke, our reputation will be in shambles, and Trump will have burned through shiploads of Other People’s Money and skipped out just before the final crash-and-burn. Looks like he’s on track to fulfill his promise.

    1. I think people need to see Everytime a Republican President is in office we as Americans stay dying more under thier watch

    2. @Wonder Wonderful : perhaps he meant “grate”, you know he has the best words, he said so himself.
