(You can’t count Trumps and Hillarys together. You count Hillarys vs Trump+Russia, as Putin’s work were either for Trump or for creating division. Also you have to count the expenses of pro-Trump information pushed by organizations like NRA… and we all know NRA received huge donations from Russia.)
But you ruskies were smart… Didn’t spent so much on ads, but your bots and trolls (and others) managed to share the ads for free quite extensive if you compare to what Hillary’s campaign managed with money. Also “stealing” (or rather FB messing up and giving it away) very private information about a massive amount of American citizens also helped… also using AI and specialists in psychological warfare to create and target ads and misinformation to specific groups of people. That information would be worth quite much.
I admit, Putin is a master at psychological warfare. And the US military were quite useless in recognizing and protecting people from such disinformation. Hillary and the Democrats (and actually the Government too) weren’t aware of this propaganda war, and wouldn’t have been smart enough to fight it.
And still the US military is quite useless, as Trump and the GOP refused funding Pentagon when they asked for funds for strengthening such a defense. If you win the minds of men, you don’t need super carriers and stealth bombers. Twitter perhaps now doing what Pentagon and the US education system should have done a long time ago: fighting disinformation with information.

Twitter is a social media platform that is supposed to uphold free speech otherwise they should lose their protections. Twitter has now been manipulating information and censoring certain people and fact checking certain people while allowing those they have personal bias towards to say and do anything they want. Selective fact checking and selective censorship and pushing political agendas is not what a social media organization should be doing. They are now behaving like liberal biased publishers, which means they should lose their protections and be held liable for anything said wrong on their platform. Either fact check all sides equally as a non biased publisher of information, or don’t meddle with free speech at all. That’s the reality of it, and Trump was right to do it. You cannot allow millions of people to say Trump is a Russian spy for years and let all Democrats call him a traitor and criminal for years and push all this false information that has now been debunked for years, and then suddenly decide to censor conservatives and Trump or label his words a certain way when you ignored all the rest on the other side, which in reality is far worse and far more deserving of fact checking. It’s not that hard to understand for any logical non biased person who just wants unfiltered unbiased information and a platform for free speech. Twitter will be held accountable for everything they allow to be said that is inaccurate on either side, or they can stop using biased selective reasoning to censor people against their agenda, and let it all be true free speech.
