‘Two Of The Most Egregious Voter Suppressors’: Abrams Points To Kemp, Raffensperger Records

Stacey Abrams, voting rights advocate and former candidate for Georgia governor, reminds viewers of the records of Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger as voter suppressors, even as they gain admirers for standing up to Donald Trump's anti-democracy pressure. 1. @Sarah Shah
The trump cultists aren’t worth replying to. Nothing you say will make any difference whatsoever in their blind worship of the orange one. You can’t educate them. They have closed minds.

    2. @CR E My dear child, the only reason any of these countries ask for help is because America has forced them into this position in the first place!!!

    3. @Valerie Galvan Trump cultists remind me a lot of the Nazi’s behaviour with Hitler! It is eerily similar and is quite disconcerting to witness!

    4. @CR E Says the sheep who mindlessly follows and worships a corrupt, narcissistic, bigoted, racist, misogynistic and ignoramus Trump!!!

    1. @marcus aurellius Reagans trickle down economics didn’t help either. Give corporations the money and they will pass it down the line. Yeah….right.

  1. Could it be that Georgia has suppressed votes for so long, that Trump thought it was a ‘given’? Now the repressed Georgians are saying enough is enough they can’t handle the TRUTH! She hit the nail on the head

    1. Yes, Kenneth Eke, I think Trump expected Raffensperger to go along with it because he is a loyal Republican & Trump supporter. It’s common knowledge that Kemp & Raffensperger have been active in suppressing voters to ensure the Republican stonghold remained in place here. After all, Kemp cheated his way into the governorship with Raffensperger’s help. So I’m sure Trump figured they would have no problem in helping him out.
However, Trump doesn’t get it that not all his supporters are willing to go to prison for him.
Trump also probably knew, or didn’t care, that the conversation was being taped. He just didn’t believe Raffensperger would use it against him.
Trump’s downfall was his over confidence. Georgia is still run by Republicans, so he figured they would have no qualms about doing as he commanded.
However, in true Trump fashion, Raffensperger was going to protect himself. It was lucky for him that it just happened to look good that he was “doing the right thing and standing up to Trump.” When actually, his reason was not altruistic, but in self interest.
It makes you wonder how many of the other states got a call from Trump “strongly recommending” that they “re-evaluate & adjust the votes” in his favor.
I don’t believe Georgia officials were the only ones to get a Trump call trying to bully them into breaking the law & risk prison just to give him an unearned, illegal victory.

    2. @judy britt Trump thought the same about the Supreme Court. He said for months that the election would be decided in the Supreme Court. He rushed Amy Barrett in to stack the cards in his favor a little more. That didn’t work out well for him.

    3. DOMINION VOTING MACHINES ARE CONVENIENTLY BROKEN TODAY, VOTERS CAN NOT VOTE.

ELECTION FRAUD HAPPENING ALL OVER AGAIN!

      Take photo of your ballot.
Do not let State Legislators certify Corrupted votes again!

    1. he doesnt care for the party.. but what the party can do for him.. the same can be said about america, americans, the trump kids, lawyers, anyone breathing, cats, dogs, melania, Barron.. well.. everything anyone thats not conald j swamp

    1. Sent Them with Trump, all of them will be welcomed there, especially trump, because those are the people that help North Korea to divided and destroyed US

    2. My family is in dire need of financial help. I am a disabled person of the second group, I have 3 minor children. I suffer from pulmonary tuberculosis. We now live in a rented apartment. We really need financial help.

    3. I admire Stacey Abram’s integrity, eloquence, and drive! She’s a rising political star for sure. In a way, she represents/embodies the future I think. The white supremacists are slowly dying out and a new generation of Georgians are coming of age and the state is attracting people from out-of-state and from abroad. Georgia is slowly evolving and advancing and becoming a place to be proud of.

  2. This beautiful lady is a Class Act. I love her toughness and her willingness to make it possible for every person who wants to vote, to be able to vote.

    1. @CR E It’s been over 2 months and trump continues to lie about an election he lost by millions of votes. No evidence or proof just rumors and falsehoods. Four years of lies and grifting at the expense of the taxpayers and destroying peoples lives who don’t agree with him.

    2. @CR E I agree the dead shouldn’t be voting. In PA there were 3 votes casts for dead people. A trump supporter voted for his dead mother and attempted to vote for his dead mother in law.

  3. I like the part where t’rump’s source for any evidence of the “rigged” election is “t’rump media.”
That’s like going to a Jets fan for their take on pro football. 😅😂🤣

  4. Abrams is my hero! Done so much for disenfranchised Georgian voters. What an inspiration! Good luck for runoffs!

    1. @Daffy thank you for that! Didn’t know he had a podcast. Both talented, witty people. This should be good. Nice to see a fellow Scot doing well and on the right side.

    1. Sad to think that Stacy may have been a victim herself of Jim Crow politics. Guess only the current Governor knows that for sure.

  5. Folks .. this is how you handle stuff .. learn the rules (even if they are unfair) and use them to your advantage (as much as is possible). I respect Ms. Abrams for one thing – she’s learnt from her defeat, re-tooled and acted effectively.

  6. Don’t worry, after the 4 years we’ve had.. anyone touching politics now is heavily questioned and under microscope..

Dem and repubs, name taking is the order of the day..

    We won’t forget..

    1. @Vote Third Party
YOU cannot tell her what to do. She can post that truth as many times as she wants.

  7. Thank you Stacey Abrams…..Americans need NATIONAL VOTE days as paid days off… without that there is VOTER surpresson.

  8. That’s something I think people have forgotten, all this argument over the Dominion machines being rigged, they were put in place by a Georgia Republican administration. If anything they would have been rigged the other way.
