Panic buyers at supermarkets are putting vulnerable people at risk and its really starting to get on my nerves SMH.
don’t blame them for panicking. they listened to Trump before and was informed it was just a flu. now they are trying to buy stuffs during the last minute, I paid attention to the world news since China lock downed its country from Aljazeera, channel 4 news, etc, I soon realize the epidemic in China and South Korea must be very serious, there is no way they lock down the country, halt their economy, and did aggressive testing for something that only as severe as flu, must be a lot more severe and contagious. I bought few face masks, clorox wipes etc 1 and half months ago,and finally bought 2 months supply of foods and toiletries when I knew Trump downplayed the epidemic in mid february and not going to provide enough test kits in the US and there was a surging number of people died in Italy. And no, I am not hoarding things. Funny things that my husband thought i was overreacting, not anymore though. I understand many people try to avoid depressing news as long as they can and decide to believe the opposite first, it is just in our nature as human.
Yes, it usually runs it’s course in a couple of months. But we can all do our part to slow down the spread of it. Wearing disposable gloves and a surgical mask can help to control it. Employers should start making these available.

@makayla devani OK, why are you panicking, fear monger? Just stupid? It’s serious in South Korea because they’ve taken too money from China – just like Iran, Italy, and the evil Democrats. China’s SARS-2 virus is completely contained, no need to worry… in Taiwan, a country ignored by the China controlled WHO (not only refuses to recognize Taiwan but also refuses to accept their statistics). To mainsplain this for you, your husband was right.
The reason you go to the store now and stock up is to get as many things now while virus is lower among population. As more people get the virus, the risk of contagion will be higher, so saving yourself from having to go the store later (***and less frequently**) when the virus is more prevalent should decrease your risk of exposure and may save your life.

They should go on lockdown immediately. During the American pandemic at the of wwi only one city had 0 cases they did the lock down immediately. The rest 50 million died 500 million infected. I hope they do its a matter of time they will get cases for sure.
We have a case in WV, and many are being tested. Apparently 99% of them are negative.

I pray every night that this issue will resolve. I love my life and i love my family and friends. I hope we can figure out how to stop this.
remember 3000 people have died from corona , and since October the flu has killed 12000, media makes everything more dramatic, if people really cared this much, every year we’d have massive closings all the time due to the flu alone, blame the media

Prayers won’t stop anything. This is a virus, if their was a god that actually cared about you, me or anyone on this earth the virus wouldn’t of started in the first place. Wake tf up, ppl who pray because of a problem are lost and need a guide and something to live for because they are to weak minded to get a grip on life.
