    1. Crazy are you guys really worried about dying? From the coronavirus? Does no one see the big scam going on? Bill Gates steps down for Microsoft invest heavily in the vaccine companies in the outbreak happens? This sugar water vaccine people are not taking it

    2. @Franky Rozzello Do pastors mean seagulls when referring to their congregation as _their_ flock?

  1. It’s fewer than the number of women in that age group that get blood clots from the contraceptive pill. I believe it’s fewer than the number of people who develop blood clots over all. Which is just weird.

    1. @sanhestar Elderly taking blood thinners (anticoagulants) is true. However, you’re assuming that the majority do and the reason why they avoid this complication. That’s just not true. I’m a pharmacist and can tell you that most elderly do NOT take a blood thinner of any kind. Yes, many do and of different types. But given that many don’t, you’d expect an increase in blood clotting events in those that don’t after being given the vaccine. I’m absolutely positive that this has been looked at by the study group and was documented at the outset as to who was and wasn’t on which medications. I used to manage phase 1, 2, and 3 trials and wrote the design of some. I can tell you that confounding factors were always taken into account or excluded from the patient population. But in phase IV (post-approval) trials, these are also looked at. Unfortunately, for these vaccines, we are just now looking at the downstream effects of those phase IV trials and real-world patients. We still don’t know enough to know if there is causation due to the vaccine. And I’m not sure how you come up with your paradoxical reaction. It might be true, but clotting requires thrombocytes so a reduction would lead to bleeding, not clotting. If you meant the paradoxical reaction increases the level, then that would make sense. Recall that the platelets are thrombocytes, and are the cells that form the “mesh” that stops bleeding.

    2. Agreed, but if you have clotting problems already it’s terrifying to think the vaccine could make me stroke out or worse…

    1. EXACTLY! I almost had a stroke and had to stop my birth control years ago. My former student is 30 and just had a stroke from her Birth control as well (I believe Neuva Ring)

  2. I kept telling folks that J&J were not to be trusted, go get the pfizer or moderna vaccine, they asked why because of the baby powder lawsuit. Now the thoery is totally true

    1. @T.E. He actually developed acutely immune thrombocytopenia which causes platelets to drop to nothing. After 2 1/2 weeks he had a stroke and died, but you were close enough. This was my sister’s OBGYN. He was the nicest man, a total tragedy.

    2. Oh FFS really ! Your odds of winning the freakin lottery are better than 1 in a million ! Well maybe not i didnt look it up but seriously stop talking nonsense , if you don’t want it then that’s your choice but don’t spread stupid , there is already enuff of that going around.

  3. One in 7 million, wait till Fox news does its own broadcast and you will be wondering what story they are talking about…still want the vaccine and would take my chances with the vaccine over Covid any day.

    1. Kc don’t listen to these people man you are correct. These people have nothing to go off of bc they just don’t have anything going for them in their life but to name call. And not use facts. They say all the vaccines are idk what they think bc it’s always something new. But The government has released the pause so obviously it’s not like their hiding anything.

    2. @Ala Ska
And you are a troll account, made less than a month ago
Safe to say, you are about as trustworthy as Tucker Carlsson

    1. @Stand Up I’m 62. I hope I will live long enough to regret it! In the meantime I will not bare the blame of spreading the Covid19 Pandemic.

    2. @Debby Smith why would you bare it? Even getting the vaccine does mean you can’t get Covid and spread it… the best way to not spread is the keep distance and wear masks. Also, data from someone surviving Covid is 99% … data from effectiveness of vaccine are from 80 to 93%… why give up your 99% for something that isn’t even approved by the FDA. These vaccine are only for emergency use; not an approved vaccination; however, everyone is treating them as they are!!

  4. Well, now my decision to pass on the JJ shot looks good. I waited and had my first Moderna shot last week…
(It was mainly because I didn’t want to travel 100 miles for the JJ shot though. Just saving the trip. A week later I was called for Moderna in my hometown).

    1. All these people screaming about the J&J vaccine:
      “Something is better than nothing.”

      No. Not really.

    2. @muadhnate gotta be crazy to take astra zeneca or the JJ shot, JJ poisoned tons of people with their carcinogenic baby powder

    1. How do you know about the problems. These vaccines just got here a couple months ago or less and already causing deaths, illnesses, disabilities not to mention that you still can get COVID I know personally.

Bottom line is it was rushed cause this whole thing was planned. Survival rate is high with COVID over 97% so why rush a vaccine for the first time in history. That speaks volumes

  5. I took the Jansen vaccine, felt crappy for a day, and nothing else. It’s 6 people after 7 million doses. I hope the others recover, and may the woman Rest In Peace🕊

    1. They’re the same type of vaccine, moderna & pfizer’s are mrna vaccines. Although all vaccines work against the protein that transfers the virus into the cell, if I dont misremember

  6. Commercials 5 years from now:

Have you or a loved one taken the Covid vaccine, you may be entitled to compensation…

    1. Except they won’t be. The paperwork you sign makes sure of that. These are all experimental, emergency-authorized vaccines. It is what it is.

  7. Well at least they’ll know which to take NEXT since the vaccines wear off in 209-290 days. Everyone will need another shot before next year anyway lol

  8. How would one know whether -down the road – someone who had received the J&J was developing those blood clots? More info please.

  9. Even though some make a case about ‘hurried development’, in Statistics we talk about the difference between Sample Population and Total Population. When determining a sample population one tries to create a sample which contains as many variations as possible to represent an average slice of the total population, but which is handleable. Where these vaccines are concerned if researchers were going to test for every possible contingency, they would have had to include the entire population as its sample anyway. It’s saddening that anyone might die from any vaccine, but the benefits appear (and no, I don’t have all the data; I’ll leave that to the FDA for now) to outweigh the risks by a substantial margin. Nevertheless, any and all complications (let’s face it; we’re participating in the world’s largest pharmaceutical test) should be dealt with on a case by case basis with forthrightness and not a small dose of compassion.

  10. Well that messes up my appt to get the shot on Saturday .. sad, then they will come out with stats that show that the numbers are a direct reflection of the general population… thinking birth control may be an underlying issue… guess we’ll find out ,hope it’s soon… this is the only shot that recommended for by auto immune disease…

  11. JJ had to have knowledge of clots during their ru$hed trials but said nothing to this. Frivolous or money hungry hope the deceased and others affected by clots sue them to the bottom of their bank acct
