    1. as if trump cares much about one massive contractor that will make enough money with some other weapon system anyways.

we already payed in hundreds of millions into the F35 program BTW.. we dont get that back

    1. @Pablo Gonzalez it’s better then the used crap trudeau bought and it’s definitely one of the best if not the best

    2. @James Clark –
Yeah, why doesn’t the biggest superpower in the world with 10 times the population of Canada just cower and curry favor with Canada.
I mean, it’s not like were not spending the 2% of GDP to hold up our end in Nato. Oh wait….
But maybe we can send our 40 year old navy down to the Persian Gulf again to be missile bait for all the other hostile nations.

    3. @Denis O’Brien Am I a wimp because I think a single engine jet in the arctic is just a little too much adventure?

    1. @Annc actually yes they are and the border traffic proves it every year, especially in the summer. Go to Fashion outlet mall in Niagara Falls NY during the summer you will see a boatload of Ontario license plates everywhere

    1. @Liam Keenlyside Last I looked Vancouver was on the west coast, unless it is a new suburb of Halifax.

  1. Hmmm I wonder if this is a clue that the F-35 was not chosen as a fighter jet, and that the SAAB will be built here in Canada?

    1. @rafizibary Canadian Citizens have been supported by the Fed and Prov governments, not left out like Americans have been, while there money is used for Military golfing and making the rich richer

    2. @Stan M that doesn’t mean they broke, get some common sense when you talk about the strongest economy in the world. And all countries need money, trump knows how to pressure others to pay, trudeau on the other hand knows how to be currupt and wastfull of tax payers money.

    3. @rafizibary Check out the 2 trillion aid package Trump gave out, there was a 179M tax credit for him and his developer friends. It’s on page 800. Trump was a failed crook and was bailed out by Russian money. Read about it.

    1. Gee…. Maybe Trudeau and Freeland shouldn’t of spent the entire negotiation insulting the person they were negotiating with?….. Na…. We’re Canadian, we don’t do personal responsibility

    1. just slap a perm ban on entering Canada like they did with Canadians that legally bought cannabis

  2. I guess the new NAFTA deal isn’t worth the paper it is written on. Bunker Boy is upset Trudeau wouldn’t go and meet with him and Mexican president. Poor baby In chief had his feelings hurt. Send him a bucket of greasy chicken to say sorry.

    1. Canada did make some money on the NAFTA deal. Canada sold them the paper it was written on. That was the last thing Canada made any money on the deal.

    1. No, this is because Trudeau spent the entire negotiation insulting trump so he could virtue signal to his base….. Well…. That chicken has come home to roost

  3. Why now? He need some more conflicts to mask his fail regarding the pandemic. Plus, to ensure Canada is still under his influence/control.

    1. That’s exactly it. It’s a political pissing contest for a president who desparately needs a distraction and is clutching straw to deflect.
