EU and NATO need to realise that they can succeed temporarily off and on using Counter Insurgency stalemate tactics but now they are fighting a conventional regular war with a country which is adapting faster and realistically with the weight of resources it has . You cannot scale actions and responses to Counterinsurgency standards unless you want to just delay and limit the fester to the current zone of conflict. You’re right Robert. It’s unfortunate that Obama or Trump didn’t give Ukraine about 50 A10 Thunderbolts and about 12 F117 Nighthawks. Both of these planes would have caused the Russians to lose many more soldiers and equipment.
The billions in equipment the us handed to the taliban would have been useful in ukraine.
