You would think with all the casinos, blackjack dealers, and card counters in Nevada, that they would get the job done faster.
@Nancy Davieau look it up…diff election laws determine what and when you count. CA law said could count early. other slower counters attempted to get approval to start counting early (I see you PA) but were blocked by their state legislatures or the courts. PA had 2-3 million mail-in ballots and by state law could not start a count until the polls (poles) closed. most states never have the volume of mail-in ballots this election had. Only states prepared were the ones already using mail-in voting or the states that could start counting as soon as the ballots arrived. my state allows you to register and vote on election day. so votes could appear to be late or illegal to a misinformed, gullible mind. our sec of state is republican working with almost all dems (she just won reelection). why can’t the 535 in DC do the same? work with each other. us citizens have to work together on the daily. so why do we allow our employees to do what they want when we give them their spending money? maybe taxpayers need to start withholding their allowance.

All of the counties are named after the tribes that are indigenous to that area. In some cases, they reflect tribes that still populate that region. For many, it’s tribes that no longer live there due to their systematic relocation or death. It’s one of the things I’ve always liked about my home state.
