US intel: Saudi Crown Prince approved Khashoggi operation

The US intelligence report on the murder of Jamal Khashoggi says that Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman approved the operation to capture or kill the Saudi journalist.
"We assess that Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman approved an operation in Istanbul, Turkey to capture or kill Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi," the report's executive summary states.
"We base this assessment on the Crown Prince's control of decision-making in the Kingdom, the direct involvement of a key adviser and members of Muhammad bin Salman's protective detail in the operation, and the Crown Prince's support for using violent measures to silence dissidents abroad, including Khashoggi," the report says.
The Biden administration provided the long-awaited declassified intelligence report to Congress ahead of its public release.

    1. @StrangeTerror You talking about synthetic motor oil or about synthetic fuel? Synthetic motor oil is ‘better’ for the environment because you change it less often, not much else to it.

Synthetic fuel still depends on either gas/coal/biomass through syngas, and isn’t ecologically more sustainable ( except biomass but considering that currently not efficient enough to outweigh the loss of foodproduction it’s not reall viable either.

You’re better of with hydrogen cells, as you can produce hydrogen from green sustainable energy through electrolysis.

    2. @Marvin Westmaas I was just pointing out how people always choose to ignore it regardless of which side of the oil arguement they stand on. Pretty sure synthetic oils also go beyond simply motor oil and synthesizing fuel also but I digress

    3. @StrangeTerror “Pretty sure synthetic oils also go beyond simply motor oil and synthesizing fuel also but I digress”

Uhm, no, those are the two applicants here. Syngas ( the intermediate step in almost all used processes ) can not be used as substitute in ( all ) other crude based products, which is why I don’t think we’ll actually end our dependance on oil entirely. We can’t synthesize everything we currently use from crude, at least not in a economically viable manner.

“I was just pointing out how people always choose to ignore it regardless of which side of the oil arguement they stand on. ”

Strange way of wanting to contribute to a discussion, but I guess ‘to each their own’. Most people who want to bring something up have at least an opinion they would like to attach to that brought up point. Who cares that both synthetic oil ( aka motor oil ) and synthetic fuels excist, unless this excistance is somehow relevant to the discussion.

    4. @Now & Later how about use 80% less you daft tool. Wtf is with people where everything is on or off. There is a freaking scale and a social need to kick fossil fuels

    5. @The Real American Patriot!
      Your statement is not choherant.
The only thing I understood of it was there is alot of specualtion,no facts SaDdly

  1. We already knew this. Nothing like this could ever happen without MBS approval. Sanction tf out of Saudi Arabia.

    1. @Nam Deee one true side of the story and one false side of the story. Biden is also our slave that is why he cant do anything against our Royal Highness. HisHigness MBS is always correct no matter the facts

  2. “Khashoggi operation” makes it sound like they removed his appendix. Can we please call it a murder, because that’s what it was.

    1. @Bruce Smith The Russians are masters of whataboutism and I’ve got news for you sunshine, Putin ain’t no lefty.

  3. That poor man he has such a kind looking face, I hate imagining him brutally being chopped up, the mindset of these people is disgusting

    1. @Hmni Kadoza No I haven’t. I haven’t seen an actual Skinhead since the 90’s either. I have seen a documentary or two about them but actually running into one… Never. I’m not saying that they don’t exist, I’m saying that their numbers are very small and that the vast majority of the American populous does not share the same ideology. Now I’m not going to say that the Klan is wrong or right, they have the same right to exist as BLM or the NFAC. Do I agree with either group… Nope.

    2. The so called kind looking face supporting the beheadings of numerous people since he was a previous royal advisor and of the so many is Nimir al Nimir a prominent Shia sheikh in the village of alwaiyah and he also called him a traitor, so I guess it’s karma.

  4. The world knows about this since 2018 and not one government changed their business deals with Saudi.
This report will not change anything.
“Some are more equal than others”

  5. BUT REMEMBER WHEN THE SAUDI PRINCE SAID POLITICALLY THAT HE HAD JARED IN HIS POCKET, WELL HE REALLY MEANT IT ! 💰💸💵🤔

  6. US intelligence services: “We assess that the Saudi prince approved the assassination of jamal khashoggi.”

    Everyone on earth: “duh.”

    1. @Alice Woertendyke it sure seemed that way, he’s lied all his life it wasn’t like he was going to change

    2. @Bruce Smith They should be prosecuted then. I know some prosecutors are uncomfortable about prosecuting fellow government people but they should to the best of there capability.

    1. Suleimani killed by USA : It’s ok.
Iranian Nuclear scientists killed by Israhell : it’s ok.
Khashoggi killed by Saudi : it’s horrible

    2. The worst news media in the history of human race. I do not think that we will see anything like this organization for centuries to come. They even lay about something written and everyone can just see it and yet people still believe them.

    3. MBS used a gangster tactic similar to why Putin uses rare, radioactive isotopes to kill. They know they’ll be blamed. Often, gangsters WANT people to know they did it. They just don’t want authorities to have tangible proof.

Putin did something similar with that Trump Tower meeting. My theory is that Don Jr, Kushner, and Manafort thought the Russians were going to hand them “dirt” in the form of a flash drive or a notebook. That would explain Trump’s odd statement right before the meeting:

“I’m going to give a major speech on probably Monday of next week and we’re going to be discussing all of the things that have taken place with the Clintons.”

But he never gave that speech because there was no flash drive. I think the Russians told them, “Just watch the news at convention time. My diplomat, Sergey Kislyak, will be there.” (Kislyak was who Mike Flynn was talking sanctions with, and who Jeff Sessions got in trouble for denying he spoke with at the convention). It was there that one of Trump’s associates requested ONE change to the Republican platform – To remove language that supported arming Ukraine to fight Russia.

That’s when the Wikileaks dumps began. Mueller couldn’t connect the dirt to Trump’s people because they never had possession of it.

The “dirt” got out nonetheless, and Trump promptly started working to lift sanctions on Russia.

With both the Kashoggi murder and the Russian hack, Trump said, “There’s really no way to prove who did it,” and wasn’t appropriately angry that they happened.

It’s ironic that Trump-blinded conspiracy theorists say that we’re blind to the truth. Why don’t they put their energy into conspiracy theories that make more sense? Oh yeah, it’s because THEY are biased.

    4. @J Groovy Suleimani killed by U.A : It’s ok.
Iranian Nuclear scientists killed by Isra.l : it’s ok.
      Khashoggi killed by Sa.di : it’s horrible.
All criminals are just blackmailing each other.🤣🤣🤣

  7. Not breaking news – the world already knew he was responsible. As we also know nothing is going to happen to him …

    1. Exactly as Americans goes scot free from thousands of innocent killings in middle east and Afghanistan !!! Shame!!!

    1. Well now that NEW WATER THEY SELL LIKE AT WALMART IT COME’S DRY LIKE POUDER BUT ( IT SAYS JUST ADD WATER ) ! ! !

  8. So if I order someone’s murder, the president will stop talking to me, but still sell me weapons. Yeah, I can live with that.

    1. The US has never said that. Joe Biden might have said that, but the Strikes on Iranian Targets in Syria (right after Biden said he would talk with Iran) should prove to you that Joe Biden does not control the United States Military. Biden is a puppet and you are all fools.
