American video journalist Brent Renaud was killed Sunday in Ukraine when Russian soldiers opened fire on a car in Irpin, a town 30 miles outside the capital of Kyiv.

  1. Such a tragic and unnecessary loss. Maybe if the world leaders took the Geneva Convention seriously and followed through our journalists would be protected like they are supposed to be under international law. My condolences go out to his family and loved ones. I am so sorry for your loss. Sending light, love, strength and hope during this profoundly sad time.

    They should heed warnings of military personnel and that wouldn’t happen.
