@Tommy Jones After literally just now reading the description of that book it sounds like a great sci-fi instead of a conspiracy theory.
You said something that the Bible describes. “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night: in the which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (2 Peter 3:10). This describes a worldwide collapse with volcanos and earthquakes everywhere. But it’s not fire of destruction. It’s fire of purification as gold or silver are melted to remove impurities. Then the precious metals can be made into fine jewelry. That will be the “third” earth, so to speak. The “first” was washed away by water. We here on the “second” earth look forward to a purified earth where a renewed humanity can start over.
@Ernest Imken Actually I was describing the game Doom. I always assumed the passage you mention was describing the sun going super nova, or something even more devastating like vacuum decay. While volcanoes can be pretty destructive, I don’t think they cause the elements to melt away and the heavens to pass.
As sure as we are standing on the earth today, the earth’s meltdown will happen, but there will be millions who escape.(1 Thessalonians 4:14-18)
