I was struck deeply by your comment. My husband moved us back to his hometown in Ohio. I was shocked to see no one has a garden. No one but a tiny few decorate for any holidays. The city charges mega taxes but the sidewalks are disgusting. Trash everywhere. And the hate and violence is literally every. It all goes together….filth, anger, hate, division, no color. Sad. And now?with COVID-19? Everything looks like death.
