@J S Whatever Trump does with the White House will not do anything to the more than 15 people dead and injured during the Floyd protests; it will not help the people who were attacked just because they tried to protect their businesses, more than 400 police officers injured during the protests. Something that I find very scary is that you have many democrats fighting for the rights of protesters to protest but they say nothing about the rights of business or house owners not to have their property vandalized or the rights of a police officer to go home without any injury when he/ she is assigned to observe protesters walking through the streets.

Testing is also supposed to be able to tell the sick person to self quarantine for 2 weeks and get a list of who they’ve had contact with so you can test them and isolate. That’s how testing is supposed to stop the spread. But when the sick person has been to a beach for 4th of July with thousands of others, nars and restaurants etc. Contact tracing becomes impossible. There wasn’t enough testing or contact tracing from the beginning. Non-essential interstate travel should’ve been put in place right in the beginning, testing and supplies organized at a national level, federal contact tracing program. All those furloughed could have been temporarily hired to do contact tracing. Shutdown should have happened in stages based on cases and reopening in stages as well. Whole thing was a disaster from the get go.
