    1. When Jon Stewart shed light on the treatment of Ground Zero responders in 2019, they managed to get their healthcare benefits extended. It is worthy to note that a few Republican senators voted against the bill.

  1. 23 people decided to leave something. 22 left a like. 1 left a dislike. That’s the ratio.

    1. $100 says the dislike is from the kid at the bottom of the thread. You can tell by his ‘MSDNC’ comment. Trolls gonna troll.

  2. Today’s Memorial Day, I’ll take boring any day over stupidity. It’s a breath of fresh air to have someone who doesn’t play golf or cry and complain on twitter every friggin day!!!

  3. my marine friend has lung cancer at 36 yrs old. was the first deployment to go into Baghdad.

  4. Over 50 years ago my brother camped for 2 1/2 years in Ethiopia while surveying the country for the Army’s Map Making Mission. They were supposed to burn their trash and garbage daily, but so many of the native Ethiopians were so poor they begged the soldiers to just dump it at the waste site and leave it. Every day they came back to find the site completely cleared, so they never burned their trash. They didn’t know the health benefits they were getting.

  5. My wife ,a 20 year, three deployment veteran of the Army is One of these people. A decade later, she still suffers bizarre, unexplainable rashes on random parts of her body. They burned Everything…even materials designed Not to burn. Jet Fuel was a favorite lighter fluid.

    1. Omega MAN…. YOUR comment is TOTALLY out of line AND OFF TOPIC… GO HOME LITTLE TROLL.
WERE DISCUSSING HEALTH PROBLEMS CAUSED BY THINGS THE MILITARY HAD OUR SERVICEMEMBERS DO AND ENDURE WHILE DEPLOYED AND THE ILLNESSES THEY ARE STILL SUFFERING FROM…. AND NEED HELP TO LIVE WITH CAUSE THERE IS NO CURE. THIS WILL BE WITH THEM TIL THEY DIE UNFORTUNATELY.

  6. Please shame all members of Congress, by name & state, who vote against medical care & support for Vets.

  7. Our government has a history of ignoring the plight of veterans and first responders. Both parties are to blame for this shameful neglect of those that put their health at risk to protect us.

  8. I did not know that Agent Orange raises your blood pressure.
That explains why I get tension headaches every time trump appears on TV.

  9. Last I heard they had troops guarding the oil fields in Saudi Arabia against an Iranian attack during the Trump admin.

    1. @Wigit He tried to bring all the troops home from Afghanistan. Iran straight up punked him after he ordered a drone strike on Gen.”Salimi”.

    2. Pretty sure he falsely claimed he brought them home. In reality, he just moved them around like pawns and betrayed our Kurdish allies.

  10. It is your responsibility as a government, as a country to take care of EVERYONE.
