Harris is to arrive in South Korea on Thursday for talks with President Yoon Suk Yeol and other officials. She also is to visit the tense border with North Korea, in what U.S. officials call an attempt to underscore the strength of the U.S.-South Korean alliance and the U.S. commitment to "stand beside" South Korea in the face of any North Korea threats.

U.S. and South Korean navy ships were also conducting drills off South Korea's east coast in a show of force against North Korea. The four-day exercise, which began Monday, involves the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. It is the first training exercise by the allies involving a U.S. aircraft carrier near the Korean Peninsula since 2017.

South Korea-U.S. joint military exercises often draw a furious response from North Korea, which views them as an invasion rehearsal. A short-range North Korean missile launched Sunday was seen as a response to the U.S.-South Korean training.

  1. ” What we got here,to quote Strother Martin, ” is a failure to communicate.”, AND ITS A BIGGUN. i KNOW HE IS JUST ANOTHER , face in the crowd’, a pretty boy, who might get his own price where he’s headed. But enough of that. what our real problem is US. Sometime, and it has happened before in other lands, the latest being Turkey, a personality comes to the fore front and mystifies and intensifies and enthralls. In the people’s enthusiasm they give him a bowl of raw political power. He consumes it ravishingly and: Behold a Dictator. We just had one named Donald following that tract, a student of Putin. If you don’t believe this elect him again and behold.

  2. The problem isn’t which side Taiwan becomes. The issue is land and water control.. currently China is blocked by Taiwan from expanding its “ownership”… China is constantly trying to expand, this is why America is siding with taiwan in a sense to keep China at bay from expanding further, because slowly China will take over the pacific, and America doesn’t want that, there should be no Chinese navy in the pacific.

  3. Amazing video and thank you for breaking it down the economic downturn I am so happy I have been earning $60,000 returns of my $9,000 dollars every 12days.

  4. To give some context, the percentage of Taiwanese who support unification is less than 10%. That’s less than half the percentage of collaborators in the West who support the Communist Party of China which is at 20%

    1. @Jeff Chun there are no paid protestors in Taiwan. We had that place under Martial Law for most of its existence and weeded out the undesirables.
