One person died after an overturned gas tanker exploded on a highway in Frederick, Maryland, causing damage to nearby homes and vehicles as city officials advised residents to avoid the area. No other fatalities or injuries have been reported at this time, according to Maryland State Police. CNN's Fredricka Whitfield speaks with Vera Scates-Barefield, who witnessed the fire.

*There were 1529.9 fires per 100k for gas vehicles and just 25.1 fires per 100k sales for electric vehicles.*

On Christmas eve, in boksburg in south africa, Over 60 people, excluding the driver. Died in a gasoline tanker explosion. curious children who were looking on, were running around, burning to death and no way to help them…. If you see a tanker and fire. STAY AWAY. My heart breaks for people going through tough times.
Dang now gas prices will spike $5.00 a gallon again because of their negligence. We need renewable energy!

Our frederick and jefferson firefighters are superheros. They got that fire out quicker than I thought. In the distance I just saw huge mushroom of pitch black smoke. Then it just kept pouring massive amounts of smoke in the air.
We had it all and we are destroying everything we have accomplished as a species. It’s sad to watch us self destruct. We could change our path but our government has lost the will to govern for person gains.
