I guess we are forgetting that a family is in mourning because of this man. Why is the attention being shift…? This is how a murderer gets away with murder.
The attention isn’t being shifted.
The people in the system screwed up and the law says he’s innocent until proven guilty – so they (Justice and Police) should show more competency, so the family gets justice and no legal ground for the case to get dismissed.

Yes it’s heartbreaking what happened to the family but he hasn’t been convicted as yet so the phrase “innocent until proven guilty” remains in tact for him. The first time I saw this video I said to my wife that these people are STUPID for doing this and because of that move this man might just get away with murder. it goes to show how backwards the system is. Jamaica, NOT EVERYTHING SHOULD BE RECORDED. Put the phones away!

Too much of a HIGH PROFILE – around the world heinous case, for not checking with Govt attorney. Incompetence, laziness or lack of common sense.
@Michael Johnson – they may have violated HIS rights (afforded to EVERY citizen) leaking that video and JP’s in the room – he has an attorney assigned by the court…
How does physically examining a man who confessed to a crime, be used to jeopardize the crime confessed to by the accused. The laws of Jamaica make so sense to me.
