John Smith saying something stupid and uninformed doesn’t matter when you say it. But when the president does, things happen like the economy—that‘s a house of cards already—start tumbling, and people die. This should have been handled way better no matter who’s in office. A lot of us are going to die from this. Telling people that it’s ok to go to work was absurdly irresponsible. He didn’t want his precious market to crash. Now more people will die. South Korea has this contained. We absolutely don’t. And it’s not just old people, ask an Italian citizen.
