As a former American, now a German citizen living in Germany, I can say that the disadvantage that America has in this situation when compared to Germany is Trump himself. He has completely done the opposite of making America great. He has made it weak, not a first world country any longer when it comes to medical preparedness. China and Russia have sent aid to America…all of you MAGAts out there need to sit back and think about that. The great America in which that we were children in the 60’s and 70’s has to beg other countries for support in a crisis. Trump ruined that completely…besides he is the biggest clown on the world stage. So sad.
@V Baxter They are not stealing American jobs. They work jobs that lazy Americans don’t want to do. When a company posts jobs and can’t get enough Americans to fill the positions, that isn’t on them. Take a look a Trump, he still hires immigrants at his resorts. Why? Because he can’t get enough Americans to work. If we didn’t have a lot of lazy Americans, we wouldn’t need immigrants. But we will always need immigrants. So no, they are not stealing jobs.

I feared this exact situation. I’m a nurse and thought to myself, we’re screwed if we have something like a pandemic occur. Knowing how it was to work with H1N1 and Ebola, I knew this clown would have no idea how to handle it. However, I never thought he would fire everyone that didn’t praise him. I thought people would tell him what to do day to day. I should have known the power would make him worse.

What I really find tragic, are postings from Trump supporters and their timelines. Always about what he’s done re; Covid 19. Never what he didn’t do and should have done. He didn’t even listen to his own appointee Alex Azar. Vaping? Really?.

@princeoftidds Limited travel from China, except for Americans in China, other parts of Asia, later Europeans, but not the UK, but Americans coming home in thousands to crowded airports with no competent testing, no cities or states shut down until SARS COV-2 was in every state, cruise ships and aircraft carriers full of the virus. Do you have any widespread and accurate testing yet? What more would I want? A competent government like Germany, South Korea, China, Canada and others acting quickly and decisively, that’s what.
