    1. Torin Wynn was a disaster for Ontario and was run out of town with an epic defeat. That’s how. Also she has less than nothing to do with Alberta.

    2. @garrett knecht
Fords whole campaign was based on smearing wynne for spending too much money yet he proceeds to spend double if not into triple what wynne was spending.
Ford is corrupt garbage, just like his crackhead brother.

    1. @vinceslapchopper By what logic is your statement connected to the topic being discussed? This is the typical left discussion tactic of tossing in a totally irrelevant statement or is it Vince you did not listen or even pay attention to the interviews.

    2. vinceslapchopper For your info Ford is doing exactly what he has to do after 15 yrs of Liberal spending by Wynn. She is so stunned. Just check out or debt for Ontario. Have you ever spent way more then you where bring in?????? How long can you do that for.

    3. @vinceslapchopper How dumb are you?? Wynne and McGuinty are responsible for plunging our province into financial ruin. As soon as democracy demands change, Liberals like you start preaching

  1. Why is anyone asking Wynne ANYTHING? She got ridden out of Ontario on a rail, and now she’s some kind of expert? Only the MSM!

  2. Oil and gas usage around the world is steadily increasing… but everyone living high on the hog of oil and gas states “it’s being phased out!” What a load of B.S.!!!

    1. @cοnjureup I run into that Also. You can see your comment but nobody else Can . I actually posted a Video on how it works.

    2. @Doug Clendinning what needs to happen is Alberta and BC should refine our own product and use it here. Why this is not being done……..companies and their bottom line.

    1. There seems to be a consensus amongst market analysts that electric powered engines will take parts of the energy sector but it isn’t accurate to associate the rise of electricity with the extinction of fossil energies (no pun intended).

    1. I laughed when I read that b/c my mom divorced my dad and raised 3 kids just fine w/o a dime in support from him. A few years later he went bankrupt b/c his 2nd wife took him to the cleaners. LOL

    2. Actually it is Abused wife mom (Alberta), who happens to make 4 times as much as alcoholic spendthrift abuser gambler dad (southern Ontario & Quebec), needs to just walk away…

    1. Eusunt Dac what’s wrong with you , he’s telling Albertans we can drill oil, and work on going green, then he tells Quebecers in French I’m the only one going to be able to take on Albertas oil industries

  3. Wynne needs to know that when the auto industry collapsed in Ontario, it wasn’t because the other Canadian provinces were keeping Ontario from getting their product to market. I think that you would have seen some serious backlash if that were the case.

    1. For Wynne to compare this to Ontario’s auto industry and Nfld’s cod fishery is condescending, disingenuous and deceitful. It reveals the arrogance and self entitlement of most central Canadians. Alberta’s current economy is the result of their embargo. Alberta’s only logical course of action is to pursue separation. The Canadian confederation is rigged.

    2. Yeah, I’ve heard the whole “Ontario auto industry and Newfoundland fishing industry” argument and I’m sorry, but it’s just comparing apples and oranges. The energy industry is the lifeblood of our economy and our way of life. I hardly eat fish!

  4. So if Quebec is so well diversified why does it need Alberta’s money. Who would really take advice from Kathleen?

  5. It’s clearly time to go these Eastern idiots will never learn and it’s time to wean them off the west’s oil fed wealth and see how much they like it.

    1. @cal carter In just 11 years, Albertans have paid out almost $240 billion to the rest of Canada. That number is more than one-and-a-half times as much as B.C. and Ontario combined, whose taxpayers pitched in $54.6 billion and $97.9 billion respectively, the other two largest net contributors to the federal balance sheet.

Since 1961, Albertans have given Canada $611 billion more in federal taxes than we have received back in transfers and services In just the last decade, Alberta has made a net contribution of $200 billion. If you wonder why we are not like Norway All our extra money go’s East.

Alberta’s net contribution to the CPP was four times higher than Ontario, the next highest contributing province, with a net contribution of $7.4 billion over the same 10-year period. Albertans paid $27.9 billion more into the Canada Pension Plan than retirees in the province received in payments over past 10 years.

With our own CPP Alberta would decrease contributions and the rest of Canada would have to pay more. Superintendent of Financial Institutions, which regulates and monitors the CPP’s finances, a recent analysis found that the basic CPP rate (9.9 per cent) would have to increase to 10.6 per cent if Alberta withdrew, resulting in up to $367 in additional contributions (in the form of payroll taxes) for workers outside of Alberta. Meanwhile, Albertans would pay just 5.85 per cent for a CPP-like program for the province.

Side note Saskatchewan is Great. I have a tough time finding info on it though. I do know they are in the top 2 income per household bracket.

  6. The last time the equalization payments were negotiated, the barrel of oil was at over US$100 and it was fair and possible to share a big chunk. We need the support of the rest of the country during these difficult times. Quebec and New Brunswick must stop buying oil from Saudi Arabia and support their own country first.
