Warnock: ‘Politics Right Now Is Too Much About Politicians’ | The Last Word | MSNBC

Rev. Raphael Warnock, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Georgia, says as Georgia voters head back to the polls for a special election they won’t be showing up “to vote for politicians,” but that “voters vote for themselves.” He tells Lawrence O’Donnell his story and his candidacy are proof that “the American promise is very much alive, it’s just slipping away from too many people.” Aired on 11/11/2020.

  1. America is

    23 in education.
    25 in democracy index.
    34 in raising family index.
    37 in healthcare.
    No high-speed train.
    Highest number of homeless people.
    Highest number of incarcerated people.
78% of people live paycheck to paycheck.

Stock market is not economy of Americans! Where 90% of money belongs to top 10% of the population, it’s wallet for the rich.

Let’s talk like adults, instead of name calling.

I have left the proof on my playlist, if you would like to check!

Let’s make our country better together. . .

  2. Homeless people in UK have better healthcare system than Americans.

Let that sink in, while you figure out why….

    1. Same in Norway! and we are a Monarchy! Only things USA is grate in, is making TV-shows, taking big lounes and polluting.

  3. Georgia will decide weather Biden is able to implement parts of his agenda, or get almost nothing done as president. To those who think the stakes aren’t high, you couldn’t be more wrong. Georgia is everything and it’s all thanks to Stacey Abrams.

  4. This race is crucial. This is just as important as the presidency. We have to stop Mitch McConnell’s reign of tyranny. He does not care about the American people. He only cares about his rich donors. If Republicans keep the Senate there will be no new stimulus package worth talking about. There will be no taxing the rich. There will be no……anything. A vote for a Republican is a vote for “the grim reaper” Mitch.

    1. @stopthecrazyguy Agree. McConnell likes power and money. He does not allow any meaningful policies or stimulus package to pass to help Americans thru this very trying times! I’m not an American btw.

    1. Amen to that! Unlike trump and most of the GOP, Warnock didn’t grow up with a silver spoon up his butt. He’s truly a self-made man.

  5. Trump is grifting. He’s dragging his feet and fundraising off this. Take a look at his campaign website. He’s begging for donations for his “legal defense fund.” He’s supposedly a billionaire yet his dumb bunny supporters will shower tens or hundreds of millions of $$ on him for his “fight.” They’re all being conned and he’s crying all the way to the bank.

  6. *EVERYONE POUR ALL YOUR ENERGY TIME MONEY AND RESOURCES INTO BOTH GEORGIA SENATE RUNOFFS IN JANUARY – WE NEED THE SENATE BADLY!!!*

    1. Canada, France, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia and many more of OUR allies are happy with the outcome of this election. I think it’s okay to be happy with them.

  7. Yeah, but Warnock is not a businesswoman, married well, fortune building Loeffler. Warnock got his education and put it work in people building and invested in bettering the lives of Georgia citizens. Good clear choice.

  8. Dear Lawrence O’Donnell, your message is the first one that gives me hope. And yes, 5 days without the sound of that grating voice. Starting January 21, 2021we can breathe that elusive sigh of relief that has eluded us for four long years. We will at last be free of donald trump.
