    1. @Jelly Belly Why should I vote for a LYING POS like Trump who told us the COVID Pandemic was a HOAX as late as the end of Feb and then told us it was just like the Flu up until a few weeks ago! He is a complete MORON that only cares about MONEY not people’s lives or this country!

  1. This is why I would have voted for Bernie and am so glad he will be staying in the Senate pushing for what Washington and the next Administration needs to do for the United States!

    1. Bernie remains on the ballot and people should vote for him to give him more delegates to wield at the convention. We should not settle for someone else ( Biden ) and lose to trump .
Mother Earth is counting on all of us!

    2. Manny, Be Real. The choice will be Biden or Trump unless the Cockroach bursts a blood vessel before then. A vote for a third party is US suicide, and there will be no one in the DNC yo teach a lesson to.

  2. Bernie is a very practical and sensible leader. Why he has never become president is a base reflection of American mentality. US still has a long way to go as a country.

    1. Bovine One no because people in the US don’t think they deserve the rights other countries have. It is a mentality issue. Just know that whoever reads your comment will be eye rolling you.

    2. Fluffy,, maybe this successful, Powerful, respected capitalist country doesn’t want to be socialized and communist, any problems? do you think Dollar is the most powerful currency in the world , just because of it’s color?

    1. @Jelly Belly believe me conference Justice is not worth it… A gigantic moron. Definitely some inbreeding going on there!

  3. Bernie not my choice but would have voted and supported him if he were the nominee! Would have supported a stuffed animal for POTUS over tRump!

    1. @Retro Moto Bernie’s policy ideas regarding college or M4ALL were never said to be free and you’d know that if you actually looked at his policies.

    2. @Angela Siegfried Also, admirable that you live in the south and support Bernie! That’s not the case for the majority of southern ruby red states who love Trump! They’ll vote for him no matter what. They eat up his racist hateful rhetoric. Sad truth is that almost half of this country is racist! I believe that will gradually change with the new generations coming up, but for now it’s the reality.

    3. @Retro Moto Half the country is racist? Only half of the entire US population votes. Approx:; 1/4 of all voters are democrats and 1/4 are republicans and the other half are independent, Green Party, libertarian. So. don’t see how you can say at least half the country is racist.

    4. @Angela Siegfried I see it every day. Even in my own family. 😔 Whether they vote or not is irrelevant. The sad truth is that this country is still going through much racial strife and more so since Trump took office. There are many people that are 2nd and 3rd generation Americans who feel this is not their country because of the way they look or perceived. I recently took a trip through the deep south (Georgia, Albama & Mississippi) on business and stopped at several watering holes to quench my thirst and chat with locals…NOT GOOD! Many “good folks” were quite candid with me about their love for Trump and dislike of immigrants and minorities! They actually believe that they’re being invaded and that everything will be taken away from them. No sense in arguing since I was clearly outnumbered and their views were not up for debate. They didn’t want to hear it! BTW…Very antisemitic as well! Blamed Jews for everything. Glad to get back north east!

  4. Recently President Obama held a virtual meeting with mayors and local leaders across America. In that meeting, Obama advised them on the BIGGEST MISTAKE any leader could make during a crisis such as the ongoing COVID-19  pandemic.

“The biggest mistake any of us can make in these situations is to misinform, particularly when we’re requiring people to make sacrifices and take actions that might not be their natural inclination. leaders in a crisis have to give the people the truth. Speak the truth. Speak it clearly. Speak it with compassion. Speak it with empathy for what folks are going through. The more smart people you have around you, and the less embarrassed you are to ask questions, the better your response is going to be.”
    — President Barack Obama

    1. Well, we have a moron in the WH sounded by idiots and people that only care for themselves, and how to take advantage of this crisis to make money from it.

    2. MEANWHILE, THE ORANGUTAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE IS POINTING TO HIS HEAD BECAUSE HE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT METRICS ARE. HE PROBABLY THOUGHT THE REPORTER WAS ASKING ABOUT THE METRIC SYSTEM AND HE WAS ALREADY BAD AT MATH IN THE US SYSTEM.

    3. @Juan Hernandez Agreed, but be sure to add Obama to your list. With Trump we knew what we were getting. Obama sold us out. F him forever.

    1. For a true independent third party you will need lots of money to compete with the other two parties. See the problem?

    2. @Luther Baker No he didn’t. He was handed a great recession when he became president. I love how folks rewrite history glossing over glaring facts.

  5. Joe Biden might have been listening to people for what they want for this country, but it doesn’t necessarily mean he will take steps to get things done. He is still stuck on status quo.

    1. But Bernie will be in the Senate, pushing OUR agenda for 4 years longer than he would if he were President. Besides, he gets to fight toe to toe with Moscow Mitch who IS the devil’s butthole.

    2. Way to change the status quo is focus on those down ballot races. Congress and the senate would shoot down any progressive agenda even if Bernie was president. Also focus on the state legislature the degree of power they have is astronomical to overturn womens rights and voting rights. The large focus on the presidency is a red herring I think, look at the shift in the US towards right wing policies even under the Obama presidency.

  6. Senator Bernie Sanders, your caring, kindness, compassion and regard for your fellow human and your steadfast upholding of the Constitution and the rule of law will forever exalt you in the annals of history as a true American hero! Thank you so much for your tenure and lifetime career of upholding the United States of America.

    1. Well, many mistakes in the campaign. For example democratic socialist“ such a wrong term. This guy would pass for a „social democrat“ in any decent democracy. And would have avoided the term „socialist“ which stupid Americans cannot differentiate from „communist“. America missed a chance for a fair society and they will pay dearly, since after
all this society is „end-stage capitalism

    2. skux 01 they use labels to put them down, Hence the racist term used by Republicans- Obama care so they can make you hate a wonderful program simply because you hate the color of skin of the person that created it! I hate labels! Especially the term Trumpism- it just should be called what it is! Racism!

  7. Thanks Bernie Sanders you opened my eyes to how Politics in USA work, Now im on to the Green Party.

    1. I beg you to vote for the Democratic nominee, the Green party is not yet strong enough to take on tRump, and Democrats are not out to destroy the country – the GOPutin IS. We can push the Dems left while we do the work to get a third party adequately funded. This election is the most important in American history, it’s a stark choice between bequeathing ourselves a constitutional republic and fascism.

  8. Good interview. Great responses by Bernie Sanders. Chris has shown a fairness with Bernie that his MSNBC colleagues have consistently not shown.

    1. @robert booth 😄 I’ve seen a lot of fairness from Chris during the slander of Bernie campaign his colleagues were taking.. why else would Bernie choose him as his first interviewer after his suspension.

    1. @Anonymous Zero Trump is a fool and dirty rotten scoundrel, he is not a king but a joker and a criminal. He has his hand in your pocket. He would sell his Mothers tombstone if there was a buck in it for him. He is a sorry excuse for a human being. He’s friendly to communist and dictators and has been opening the door for America’s downfall into total collapse. A vote for him only proves that you’re not intelligent, Un- American, and you sympathize with a communist.

    1. Yes, we are in this for a couple years. Wearing masks are a priority for at least a couple of years. Testing for immunity will be crucial in allowing people back to work. There will be some herd immunity, and that will help. Everyone will get this to some degree. Hopefully, those who are vulnerable will make it until a vaccine . We must stop the spread until we we have a vaccine. We’ll have to isolate for at least a year. This is hard, but it is the truth. Stay well, and please don’t jeopardize anyone else.

    2. Ask Trump for test, to be tested? Don’t mind me, just being sarcastic!! We need to demand to be tested.

    3. IYes, we are in this for a couple years.

    4. @Blue haven’t missed a single day of work unless it was my days off. Keep on Trucking!! And it has been a whole lot better since a lot of you butt head’s aren’t on the highways and when or if you do get back out here put the Damm phone down and pay attention!!

  9. It saddens me , your are the best man for being president . I’m sure you had more support and would be president if you stayed in the race . Just an opinion from a Canadian that respects you Mr Bernie Sanders .Best wishes .

    1. Lol keep being sad cuz Bernie will never be president. I would like to see him as vice president for Biden. Just not president! I would have had to vote for him had he been the nominee. Now that would of been sad.

  10. what is HILARIOUS, is if Bernie was running anywhere else in the world, he would be considered a CENTRIST.

The Democrats have not turned to the Left.

The World has LEFT AMERICA behind.

    1. Congress, and the House in particular represents the peoples voice and in a democracy that is what counts, count the Sanders progressives in the House. The Sanders my way or the highway, no fringe talk here, does not push those that might be push in the right direction, it is only this or that end of conversation. How about tackling all the uninsured (either by choice or not) and use creative thinking around Medicaid to assure everyone needing medical care is covered by Medicaid, even if they have the money for insurance buy thought the odds of getting sick were too small. How about a public option added to Obama care, some thought that would destroy private insurance, he never had the political instincts to work the gray areas, propose something that might get through Congress.

    2. @Michael Burtt
That is 100% correct. Why do you think in the US that when all citizens have health insurance, like in Germany, for example and health insurance must meet certain requirements that this is the beginning of a welfare state. This is as sick as anything. The same applies to the education system.

    3. Sadly, you are correct.

Almost all of Bernie’s main policies have been enacted in some form in Canada, the Europe/UK.

The US is about 40 years behind in consumer legislation and polices, and if you look at a graph of US education, you can see the fall. The US USED to lead in education, but that was more than 40 years ago, now the US is barely in the Top 25 in the UN rankings, sometimes as low as 38 or so.

    4. Hard to say. I live in Europe. You could make the same argument for Trump. Europe is nowhere nearly as liberal as Americans think. Less liberal than America in most ways. For example, stop and frisk or completely toss your car is normal here.
There is definitely many more and much more extreme right wing parties here and they do well in elections. The Socialist parties have been in decline since the 70’s.
