  1. supreme court justices arent voted in and they shouldnt have this much power … they should have 6 to 8 year terms maximum … its undemocratic

    1. **WHO IS OBSESSED,, WITH PICKING THEIR OWN JUDGES??? CRIMINALS ARE!!!AND THIS REPUBLICAN PARTY IS A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE!!! VOTE BLUE!! AND GET AT LEAST ONE MORE PERSON TO VOTE BLUE!!! IT’S UP TO US!**

    2. @john peele the idea was to keep them from being susceptible to bribes to stay in there positions the problem is it works against us as well.

    3. No one that gets paid by the public should have lifetime positions. That is like a barbaric and Fascist rules.

    4. The Supreme Court, and the entire federal judiciary, have been majority republican for at least the past 150yrs. Our voting system is designed w/a thumb on the scale for republicans, the wealthy, and corporations. From states gerrymandering to give republicans more seats, each state getting an equal number of senators regardless of population, and the electoral college which gives rural white ppl, who have been republicans for at least the past several decades, greater weight to their votes while diluting the votes of urban dwellers, there’s nothing democratic about it. It’s designed to give republicans more power than Dem voters and rural Americans more power than urban Americans, and small low populated states more power than big large populated states, making one person, one vote a joke, the Supreme Court gutting voting rights (in my opinion, making it harder for ppl of color, for Dems, for the disabled, for M&L class voters, young voters, or any group of voters for no good reason should all be unconstitutional), and then the Supreme Court giving corporations rights to spend as much $ as they want and to do so while hiding behind superPACs completely drowning out the voices of the ppl bc they want to do the damage but don’t want their companies held responsible by the ppl r all wrong, un democratic, and give republicans, the wealthy, and corporations advantages that the rest of us don’t have. The Court needs to be expanded and we need a law stating the court must maintain a make up which matches the population. We r a majority Dem country, so, we should see a majority Dem Supreme Court and majority Dem federal judiciary if we really wanted a democratic court and a court that represents the views of the ppl in the same proportions, which would stop the republican senate, or Dem senate if they were to deny a republican nominee for the court under different rules than what they follow for a Dem president’s nominee for the court, from denying Dem judges a hearing and vote until republicans r in the WH. When the courts don’t match the population proportionally based on political views, as with branch 1&2, it’s not democratic and we r allowing a small minority of rich, white ppl, and large corporations to determine the path of our country, for example, the majority of the country wants gun laws and climate change mitigation but can’t get that bc of the influence of money which keeps control for the Republican Party, the wealthy, and corporations but it’s the M&L classes who r paying the price. We must demand change and stop accepting this fake or controlled democracy.

    5. @Jane Doe in short.. the con serf as tifs , the old patri.. daddy knows best notion ,that the old guy s know what is best for you, to maintain the status quo.
Meaning.. dont rock the sinking life raft.

  2. When will Manchin And Sinema get it?? Only when someone offers them a million to vote with the Democrats. It is about the Holy Dollar!

    1. Look at the other side of the coin, also. If Schumer would be able to shut down the filibuster, next time around, when the GOP is back in power, they will be able to pass anything they want.

Believe me, you ain’t seen nothing yet, when that happens. Regulations for employee protection, gone. Unions, gone. You may have heard that the GOP proposal for paying for the Infrastructure Bill was to up costs that average Americans already pay. Be prepared to see that trick be used for every other way to increase revenue. GOP is the party for the companies.
Donations from unknown donors (a.k.a. dark money) flows mainly in GOPkoffers and they made the law that these donors stay unknown. Look at all the companies that pledged never to give money to the ppl that voted and supported the 01-06 insurrection. Almost 3/4 of those companies have already broken that pledge. Why? Because they know the GOP will probably be back in power in 2022 and want a seat at the table.

Organize, register and vote when the time comes. Vote with both your head and heart.

  3. “Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.” – George Carlin

    1. in 2016 I was both sad and glad that Carlin wasn’t around for drumpf. I think that presidendouche would have given him at least an ulcer, but he would have ripped him limb from limb in his rhetoric

    2. The public is a form of chattel. Look at the focus on a stammering, yammering, guy making millions by talking as if a journalist. Despots envy the control exercised by “free” states.

  4. Americans and voters, I urge you to get out and vote blue. The rebulicans can care less about the average American, they are voting against us at every bill, that our president Biden makes.

    1. @Douglas Ross you May be right.. but mony talks louder than you. America still not read the memo.. fugs
Democratie.. if i cant benefit of off it . Fugs merica.. Your ex pres.. verbrande aarde.

    2. It is that or kiss it all good bye! It is clear that a rogue band of delusional thugs want to trash this country, people died protecting this country and your right to vote – PLEASE DO NOT THROW IT ALL AWAY!!!

    3. **…100,000,000 ELIGIBLE VOTERS,, DO NOT VOTE… EVERY ONE OF US CAN GO OUT AND FIND AT LEAST ONE OR TWO OF THEM,,, HELP THEM GET REGISTERED AND MAKE SURE THAT THEY VOTE… I FOUND TWO,,, AND THEY VOTE BLUE IN EVERY ELECTION…. WE CAN DO THIS…**

    4. That’s not the problem. The real issue is the browning of America which is the fear of white people. The GOP empatizes with them, and has adopted such fears as their ideology.

  5. Chris, look at the individual voters. Interview the trump cultist. I realize the importance of our elected officials, but the cultist are still the key.

  6. We fought for centuries to get equal voting rights, now the Reich wing wants to take it back to just white land owners who are eligible to vote.

    1. @Tim Hughes; It almost seems odd, but you have to ask people to be concerned for their future. We have become so complacent, that we are on the verge of having it swept away from us, despite the blood that was spilled, so we could retain our right to be ourselves and not to have to submit to some clan, cult or religion.

    2. @Sheila Bush Our infrastructure is falling apart and unraveling. This is due to neglect: inaction, rather than action. The ‘tearing down’ is what is slowly happening to our Constitution, as different parts of it were ignored and basically trampled by the ex-President. No one is tearing our country to rubble. Rumors of cities being vandalized have been greatly exaggerated.

  7. VOTE YES – for federal intervention to enforce voter rights – whatever it takes! And don’t worry Junior . . . YOU’RE NEXT.

    1. **WE HAVE TO TALK TO HER FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS AND GET THEM REGISTERED TO VOTE…100,000000 AMERICANS DON’T VOTE!!!!!! EVERYONE, CAN GET AT LEAST ONE NEW VOTER,,,, AND HELP THEM GET REGISTERED AND VOTING…. IF WE DO THAT,, WE WIN.**

  8. Trump has always cheated on his taxes. “The best they could come up with is tax fraud”, what Trump is saying is he’s too good to be expected to follow the law. I can’t believe he has any followers left!

    1. Not paying taxes may be smart. Though it is his accountants being smart, not him. He more or less is not paying taxes because he lost billions. How smart is that?

  9. the rich graft using greed is going to cause a lot of problems. they are wrecking the world . but we the people let them . push back , resist .

  10. 50 years for stealing because you are starving… isn’t that the plot line of Le Miserables? These are bad times.

  11. These will be so entertaining to watch, while they are all in prison after tattling on each other…

  12. Maga supporter suffocating to death while the crowd chanting “I can’t breathe” to mock a movement that just says “everyone is equal”.. **Karma**

    1. Plus Rump isn’t ignorant about taxes. That is why he hides what he is doing. He knows what is wrong.

    2. @David Copperfield-not the magician daddy taught him well from a very young age. And his spawn has been paying attention for some time as well. The grift is generations deep.

    3. Ignorance of an unjust law doesn’t make the law right! The crime of hunger should be chargeable to the rich and greedy, not the poor and hungry.

  13. It’s long overdue about time the clown should be jailed too so people will be very very happy justice matters

  14. The ‘stable genius’ being caught at tax fraud and now claiming that THAT is his right to cheat the IRS…..now that the trumps have been ‘outed’ they are pleading hipocracy…..damned sheep

  15. The part that is bleakly unconstitutional, in these Repub states’ voter suppression legislation, is their spec that (Republican) election officials are empowered to OVERTURN any, ANY, FREE AND FAIR election the result with which they happen to disagree.
