  1. Should have said ALL those who assisted our troops, not as many as we can. He left the door open to leave too many behind.

  2. The Afghan security forces new the threat and my understanding had stated they would stand their ground. We’ve trained them for two decades. How were we to know they were going to give the Taliban the keys the moment we left.

    1. Because the Taliban told us years ago that they’d do exactly this. How does this excuse us abandoning the very interpreters and spies that allowed America to have so few casualties? My brother is a veteran of this war, and they would have blown far more American troops to bits if it hadn’t been for intel: we’ll never get that level of intel again because the world knows not to trust American soldiers.

    2. @Dee See While I don’t have any tours in Afghanistan…..I do have 27 months in Iraq and 22 years of service. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

    3. Taliban Holds Press Conference From Presidential Palace While Biden Hides From Public… Trump would have had Hellfire’s coming through the windows… I think we have the coords… Missed opportunity Joe.!!! DOLT

  3. Makes me think of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs – water, air, food…hard to think of lofty thoughts without these.

    1. You make an interesting point And so far, given the Afghani response to Taliban leadership, it’s people they simply don’t feel safe.

  4. My heart and hugs to the Afghan reporter who is so heartbroken but trying to do her job😢 I couldn’t hold it together like that

    1. She’s one of the lucky ones, she’s already in the US. She will immediately be eligable for political asylum.

  5. America has got a huge Pentagon with God knows how many generals, colonels, majors etc. planning military movements, and this is the best they could come up with?

America uses other countries for its own ends and when it has had enough, abandons them. How many times have we seen this happen?

  6. Listen to the Military/Media industrial complex cry because their endless punchbowl has been taken away.

  7. How absurd… Incompetence reigns supreme within the U.S. leadership and all the lies and excuses in the world will never make up for the lack of humanity.

  8. Just as an example, lets say we had sent in full evacuation; planes, helos to airlift people to a location that would transfer them to a safe haven and picked up everyone who was at the airport; Who to say that we wouldn’t have taken the enemy with us? Then What?

  9. I love how Willie always introduces himself when asking guests questions. I also love how he simultaneously looks 50 and 14 years old.
