  1. “tRump’s plan is to take credit for everything the governors do well and blame them for everything he does poorly”
    Windsor Mann 4/17/20

    1. @brian woodward There is nothing wrong with my English, maybe you should try to expand your vocabulary.

  2. It’s all about testing… Returning to work, containing this virus, being able to socialize closer than 6 feet, etc. Testing! Testing! Testing! That thing that tRump and his corrupt administration is providing *nothing* of! Vote this administration out!!

    1. So your gonna test like 3 times a week? When you go to work, when you go to the store , when you stop to get gas? When you handle the mail? When you take money out of the atm?

    2. @Megadog — This is like the second or third time you’ve made that comment. Do you have anything helpful that WOULD help diminish the spread of this thing? Or do you just want to whine?

    3. I challenge you to give me 1 example with proof of Trump corruption!!! The Russian Collusion case is now a CRIMINAL Investigation on the Obama DOJ! So that corruption rests on Democrats who tried to insight a Coup to unseat Trump. Trump calling the Coronavirus a hoax is in reference to how the liberal media is reporting it with a single sight focused on Trumps incompetent handling of it. Testing is not a cure nor does it do anything to slow down the spread of infection. It is only a tracker!!! Do you feel a need to be TRACKED? I sure do not and I am one of the very high at risk individuals with 2 pre existing conditions & I am not worried or afraid at all of Coronavirus!

  3. Number 45 doesn’t want testing done then the real numbers will come out and it will hurt him politically. And he would just assumed not give any vents or PPE to the blue states because you can’t vote if your dead!

    1. @TILT what’s the point. racist trash live in a fantasy world, created for you by FAUX spews.

    2. STUPID. 🤪 DemoCracks want u to have Gates Vaccine. ☠️🇺🇸☠️
      🛑 CHINA 🛑 Control 😂🤣😂🤣😂

  4. I hope America wakes up to how abused their people are in the work area you don’t have to suffer to make a dollar

    1. @Megadog no it does not work like that this is America this is the land of free where no one suffers this is the reason why people immigrated here to have better lives not miserable lives

    1. @THE ANGRY QUAD innocent? Certainly there was no declaration of innocence in the senate. Just the opposite all the evidence points to his guilt, the fact that no one even challenged the evidence means it stands. Trump was guilty and should have been removed that he wasn’t is a dark day for the country.

    2. @Ian B innocent? Certainly there was no declaration of innocence in the senate. Just the opposite all the evidence points to his guilt, the fact that no one even challenged the evidence means it stands. Clinton was guilty and should have been removed that he wasn’t is a dark day for the country.

    3. @THE ANGRY QUAD Trump was impeached. Acquitted means he wasn’t convicted, it doesn’t mean he wasn’t impeached. No matter how much you don’t like it, Trump was impeached, and that will never, never, never go away.

    4. @Yoji Shinkawa I’ve never disputed that point, just pointed out he was Acquitted! Just as a reminder so was Clinton
although he was impeached on ACUALLY lying to the American people!!

  5. Could you imagine if this would have been an actual war with people invading American soil.
Trump would have left each General to fight the war on their own- Make each General figure out how to do it, when to do it- and force them to pay for any extra resources they need to fight the enemy.
Trump would be spending this time blame the Generals that had more fighting and run out bullets.

    1. I have had the exact same thought myself. And, if he gets reelected, and after seeing how useless he is, some radical country might just try it. American voters are so inward looking, they forget that the world is changing rapidly, and resources are dwindling. And, the whole world is watching this whole FUBAR.

    2. That’s an interesting thought, although if it we’re Biden in charge it would left to the citizens to defend themselves. After the firearms are seized btw. And I’m not so sure your up for that task.

    3. @Bryan Mcphail — Don’t be absurd. If there actually WERE a major attack by a foreign nation, are you fantasizing that you and your good buddies with your AR-15s would hold off the whole army? Nonsense. And no one has said anything about “seizing firearms” — except for Beto O’Rourke, in a moment of understandable anguish. Yes, if there’s a Democratic president and a majority-Democratic Congress, we might, MIGHT, get some sensible national gun legislation. The horror, the horror.

  6. Listening to Rachel Maddow discussing the extraordinary facts is like witnessing an epic, tragic nightmare story unfolding before my eyes. Problem is: this is for real.

    1. Q Wins your YT name says everything we need to know about your views, all conspiracy. You live in an alternative reality. Good luck with that!

    2. “Problem is”, she’s this dramatic about everything she reports on, especially when reporting on our president. I’ve lost all confidence in Rachel. She’s went off the deep end

  7. First off, my heart goes out to everyone suffering because of this tragedy and a huge thank you to all the people out there on the front lines. I’m a registered Independent and just want the people we vote for/hire to do their jobs. Americans will continue to die and their blood is on the hands of Trump! November can’t come soon enough. In the meantime, if you see videos posted by the right, report them as misleading/spam. We as American citizens only have ourselves to rely on, the federal government has failed us. Please stand together, love each other, we can do this and come out stronger.

    1. @Marshall Bowenthe media and Nancy Pelosi were out there say TRUMP was over reacting when he stopped flights pelosi that same day way in china town saying come out if good were all good
You need to check the facts
TRUMP 2020 and yes November cant here fast enough 4 more years

    2. @MS Glazier don’t be angry at the world just because you don’t know if your a male or female
Crawl back in your demo rat hole

    1. It’s not the game show host. He’s the symptom, not the cause. The cause is people who are terrified and enraged about social, economic, and demographic changes, and are willing to vote anyone into the presidency who tells them basically that he’s going to fight to keep America in the 1950s. Those are the people who must understand — even if it’s because he screws up their lives — that a race-baiting demagogue is not their knight in shining armor.

    2. William Sheppard oh come on. I am a doctor, and in Germany we had information about a virus outbreak in China similar to the SARS 😷 pandemic in 2003 already in December and January. We didn‘t have any further information either, but we got prepared. The US knew about this virus and downplayed it. They would never have listened to China anyway. Trump doesn‘t even believe his own doctors or the CDC. He’s just playing the blame game.

  8. Keep it up Rachel your attention to detail and your investigative journalism its needed now more then ever.

  9. I’m curious how Conservatives will deal with their cognitive dissonance when a bunch of people start dying again after they reopen. I’m sure they’ll find someone else to blame for their carelessness.

    1. I’M curious, you say this as though you WANT people to start dying after we begin to reopen. Why do you say it like that?…..

    2. @Mike Chavez, it’s not about what I want or don’t want: It’s about what is going to happen. People having wishful thinking, crossing their fingers, and thinking that they can just Will reality into submission is what put us into this situation in the first place.

    3. @Rain Walker I see all your information came from NY times and CNN. Both have been caught pushing facts that only tell half the story or push their narrative. They will not be reporting on the State of Michigan Detroit Representative who believes that the Drug Trump was touting helped cured her of the virus. Their are others also. Now the Democratic party is trying to shut her up. This story will not be on NY times or CNN. Why is it that the virus is concentrated in the Democrat controlled areas. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer issues stay at home order and less than one week later citizens of Detroit are partying in the public parks. Police issued tickets. Stay home to stay safe.

    4. @Doug Jones
The bottom line is that this crisis didn’t have to become a catastrophe had Trump taken quick action after being repeatedly warned. His lack of action, coupled with his daily lies, caused the virus to spread. We may see as many as 100,000 lives, or more, needlessly lost, because of Trump’s effort not to spook the market and damage his re-election. Since Trump’s lies were what was keeping the stock market going, once he couldn’t lie anymore, the market collapsed. Tens of thousands of lives were sacrificed in an attempt to preserve the market and to keep Trump in power.

Why is it that the virus is concentrated in the Democratic-controlled areas?
Before the virus was detected in the U.S., airports in NY, Chicago and California and a few others received the majority of the flights each day from Europe and Asia. It’s no coincidence that these densely populated cities have the most cases of infections and deaths.
Many low-income people live in cities, because of easier access to public transportation. For several decades the middle-class left the cities for the suburbs.

      Excerpt from the link below:
“The new coronavirus began spreading in New York weeks before the first confirmed case and came to the area via travelers from Europe, not China, new research suggests.”
“The first case of the new coronavirus confirmed in New York came
March 1. More than a month earlier President Donald Trump said he would increase restrictions on traveling from China. But it wasn’t until March 11 that Trump said he was restricting travel from Europe”
      https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2020/04/09/new-york-coronavirus-cases-spread-months-came-europe-study/5120590002/

    5. @Rain Walker Democrats claimed Trump was racist, fear mongering and xenophobic when he declared the travel bans. All the Democratic Presidential candidates stated this

    1. @Whiten Lite oh? She didn’t make whoever your candidate was look great? Sometimes reality bites. She is a great journalist.

    2. @Jan Wyman Be bias, lying, smearing, favoring one candidate over another, selective journalism. MSNBC is to the DNC as FOX is to the GOP. She’s a hack, journalist are suppose to be impartial and fair. If don’t see it, you’re lost and blind.

  10. Please someone, ask trump if it is so safe to open, WHY isn’t HE out campaigning and holding mega rallies?

    1. No one wants to give up there own mask for POTUS to have own. Plus the Yahoo knows that if he wore one then his 29 percent base would want a mask. So let’s just keep it that way………

  11. Ann Frank spent two years in an attic. With Netflix, home delivery and booze, can we try some self control? To save lives?

    1. @Eugene Vaux Only Liberals would equate their Covid-19 lock down with the ordeal Anne Frank suffered. Shameful.

    2. Grow up. He is making the point that if she could survive, then you big bad tough Republicans should show us how tough you are and stay at home.

    1. J. L. … freedoms?
I would call it freedom if:
      – my kids didn’t have to practice “active shooter” drills at school
      – my vote wasn’t corrupted by a slavery era Electoral College
      – an illness didn’t potentially mean financial ruin or hardship
      – I could trust the government to put people ahead of the dollar
      – I could travel internationally with my head held high

    2. R Wags
At least people in the US have the ability to protect themselves. Most people I know live in rural areas where a call to the police takes a good half hour to get a response to.
-Electoral college is part of the direct/indirect system. It is somewhere between the senate and the house so I assume you share the same beef with those systems as well. If so, you got serious problems with the US government as a whole.
-I assume you are referencing the lack of universal healthcare, which is a good thing. If you remove incentive structures you slow innovation. Slowing innovation costs millions or even billions of lives in the future. Also, communities should pick each other up more, just sayin.
-government is made of people, elected by people. So people are electing people who value dollars over lives. I’m guessing something in our nature makes that prevalent. People are not perfect.
-hold your head high because human beings have done terrible things in our history but we seem to be getting better.

    3. J. L….
      – How’s that protection going for you at the moment? 46,000+ dead. At least you have your AR-15 eh.
      – US government (GOP)… an international joke, where lies, corruption, abuse of power, adultery, racism, misogyny, bigotry, nepotism… are condoned.
      – Universal healthcare… I guess, we in the rest of the world have it wrong, because it’s “socialistic”. And how do you propose to address the 22m+ without jobs now? Tell them… don’t worry/be happy… you’re in America? And don’t forget to send back those PPP checks Trumpeteers. You wouldn’t want to look hypocritical.
Basically, you put a failed narcissistic businessman into office… now you have to deal with the consequences… and worst of all, for decent Americans, this sideshow is on full display to the whole world.
      A view from afar

    4. mischiefpwns I do hope all different countries do the opposite. Please do! We want a healthy world. The citizens of the USA sadly are a great teacher in this way.
