    1. @Tony Smith being a law officer is a whole different story. Frankly, I would think dealing with it everyday you wouldn’t want everyone to be carrying. There are many I know I would not like to see armed.

    2. @Tony Smith and not everyone takes those precautions. I know many that bragged on their arsonal only to be robbed shortly thereafter

    3. @Tony Smith you spend a lot of time looking for arguments to engage in on Social Media, don’t you?

    4. @Bobby Hickey who’s arguing, we were having a respectful conversation at least that’s what i thought its just a different of opinions,I just want people to understand the facts.

    5. @Tony Smith i’m trying to get you to see a different perspective, but you keep defending gun sales. At 62, I do not remember so much hype about guns in my 20s, 30s, or 40s. I see lose gun controls and more & more shootings. Do you really want to live in a society where everyone is carrying? We didn’t used to be so consumed with guns. It was better before the opened the flood gates.
Do you donate to fear monging NRA? Might want to look up XEO, living millionaire lifestyle off donations, under investigation. 2nd ammendment fear monging increases gun sales and ammo, which is in short supply. Is this what you want? A paranoid society anxious to shoot someone? No one is raking your guns away. But the problem can’t be ignored and the connection is obvious.

    1. @Douglas Lowe who decides who is mentally ill? Drug addicts? Alcoholics? Anyone who takes antidepressants or ADD medication? No guns for anyone that was ever sad.

    2. Harmony Cannon SAME HERE. WHAT KIND OF A FAKE “CHRISTIAN “ SNOW FLAKES WOULD EQUATE THAT TO 2ND AMENDMENT RESTRICTIONS?

  1. Yes they like the kick in their campaign war chests from guns……they don’t care about the dead ….

    1. Moreso they don’t care about a policeman’s widow raising 7 children without her best mate by her side. My heart aches. I’m really pixxed.

    2. @Debra Cottrill says someone who supports abortion go away liberal I’ve heard it all from you

    3. @Bergy der Meister You’re not being fair. Please go and read the actual _Roe v. Wade_ decision before you post another comment. Hint: It does not allow “abortion on demand” as you obviously believe.

  2. I have always thought our elected officials were there to represent The Americans who put them there. Manchin should be REPLACED.

    1. @UCiasuHC0lRqxCXNapdM1z1A You are completely indoctrinated amongst many others, so discussion is futile. You traitors are actively trying to pervert our Nation’s Doctorine once again.

You are the new Confederacy traitor.

    2. @Vehement I think we have found the insane traitor in our midst. Obviously you know you would not pass a background check. Did they take your truck away too?

    3. You need a background check to work at a school~~ & yet you don’t need one to enter a school with a machine gun.

    1. @Gerald McKencie Is that what your tea leaves tell you? It’s my choice thanks to the second amendment and the NRA.
“Approximately 1.35 million people die in road crashes each year; on average 3,700 people lose their lives every day on the roads. An additional 20-50 million suffer non-fatal injuries, often resulting in long-term disabilities.” – Association for Safe International Road Travel (ASIRT) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that improves the safety of travelers on the roads.

    2. @Walt Likker and maybe we should stop making people have licenses, maybe we should not make people buckle up, maybe qe should have no speed limits
Do you try to be this disconnected from reality or is it a family trait
By the way, cars have a function
Everything you do with a gun can be done with something else

    3. @Walt Likker actually the numbers are based on reality, easily found, guess you dont understand how fcats work

    4. @Gerald McKencie Apparently you don’t know the difference between a constitutional right and a privilege. Driving is a privilege.
“Everything you do with a gun can be done with something else”. Am I supposed to hunt with a screw driver or fend off a firearmed home invader with a hammer?
“According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, almost every major study on defensive gun use has found that Americans use their firearms defensively between 500,000 and 3 million times each year. There’s good reason to believe that most defensive gun uses are never reported to law enforcement, much less picked up by local or national media outlets.”

  3. I think all gun owners should have to take a mental health test and at least once a year having a mental health evaluation

    1. @vicky aldridge it’s nice not having a live next door to somebody that wants to shoot off their mouth and everything else they can point their little PP at

    1. @Jake S I think the issue with Manchin is he’s simply a corrupt politician. His constituents aren’t who he’s really working for. He’s concerned about his corporate donors.

  4. I wonder how he’d feel if he was staring back at a shooter who was busy writing the next headlines.

    1. Safe – the people supporting this crap are sure they aren’t being targeted – although they’d be “more nervous” if Black people had the guns.

  5. Manchin would rather have blood on his hands. His constituents need to apply real pressure. Manchin works for Mitch McConnel, pure and simple.

  6. Keeping guns out of the hands of unstable, mentally ill people should not be a difficult decision.

    1. what about those serving in the military and after they serve? they should NOT be punished for serving a grateful nation. THEY SHOULD BE EXEMPT.

    2. What if a person passes the back ground check and is mentally fit at the time of purchase but later develops mental issues later that aren’t publicly noticeable?

  7. The worst part of this, apart from the deaths, is that speaking of reforms to gun laws boosts gun sales.

  8. The 2nd amendment doesn’t just throw the door open to discard the bath water much less the baby ! These conservatives are holding our country back from any form of thought not established in1850 !

    1. She may be the worst person on tv. And I’m not a Trump loving republican but there is absolutely no way you can watch this show and think that this lady is not a one side, propagandist, that is the worst person to ever get the news from. She is that bad.

    1. SEN. MANCHIN D.WEST VIRGINIA SHOULD switch party. He seems to agree with Repug policies more often than Democratic ones.

    2. @Watcher Agree’d like all the huge numbers of Homeless in California that is a Democrat Super Majority.
