What if among those children’s deaths were Dr. Oz’s grandchildren?? He is a freaking TV host! He is a surgeon, not a viral disease specialist! As for Dr. Phil, let him help the psychological repercussions that this presidency has created. His spurting out of statistics has nothing to do with this virus we see ourselves in. We don’t even have enough data yet to place statistical analysis on this crisis. This is an excellent example of how we as Americans allow our celebrities to dish out health advice and take it seriously. I call for both of them to lose their network shows as they are providing unsubstantiated advice to millions of Americans! SHAMEFUL!

@Sister Anonymous no he’s NOT a psychiatrist. A psychiatrist IS an MD, an actual Dr who can prescribe meds. A PSYCHOLOGIST is what dr Phil is. He TALKS to people, nothing else. Not an MD. Not a medical Dr.
@oldrrocr he is a doctor, but NOT a medical Dr. There’s lots of doctors. Dr of philosophy, Dr of the arts, Dr of religion etc etc. It means you have a PHD. A DOCTORATE degree. Not just medical doctors are called Dr.

Why can’t people ever pick up a book and learn just a tiny bit from history. What you are trying to do is basically the Spanish Flu epidemic all over again. So yes we have to reopen when the curve flattened, but step by step and with safety measures. Like face masks when social distancing can’t be done, washing hands regularly and keep up you overall hygiene. Would that be too much to ask, for saving lives?
