@Cody Forest start taxing big business and the super rich, use that for a minimum basic income (that automatically scales with inflation), and inflation will be the force that counteracts the free markets tendency to accumulate wealth on the top.
Usually costs go up with supply and demand , when a $15 minimum wage comes in prices will have to go up regardless , so that’s why the Alexandria ocazio cortez school of economics got confused why a crroissant was $7 at a New York airport and you can get 12 for $4 at Walmart . Figure it out

Prices will only rise for products that have an actual shortage. (as long as there’s no monopoly or oligopoly artificially reducing supply)
