    1. @Raynus 1 harpoons are top attack weapons. It looks like the missile hit it at sea level. Probably a cruise missile launched from a ship.

    1. Yep, spent billions gutting it and reinventing the wheel while refitting it; all the while being screwed by corrupt contracts. All this for it to be canceled and sunk off the coast.

    2. @Steven Foulger Actually I was in the Air Museum in Darwin in January of this year. There were a lot of planes there including products of deHaviland. The center piece was a B-52 from the Viet Nam era.

    1. Sean Mahoney Sean Mahoney no pollution, ship is cleared of impurities (oil, gasoline, other harmful products) and approved to sink by Marine Biologists, ship is positive for Marine life!!!

    2. @Freedom Loving Loyalist I like it when British ships are blown to bits. I say line em all up and torpedo them.

    1. WRONG, you dense, dumb blonde! The ship was stripped of all toxic materials. The sunken ship will now serve as an artificial reef for fish and other sea creatures. This is beneficial to the ocean.

    2. @TDH Probably not, but even then, its an extremely small impact compare to our daily life. Heck, one plane flying LA to NY has more impact than sinking that metal carcass for TRAINING.

    1. @Fix News ye if you don’t get that we can’t comment on half the vids which is why i was forced to post about it on this one smh

  1. What an abysmal video. low quality, no info on who is shooting what, does not capture the full sinking, no sound, no commentary on what ship this is – where it has served, where this artificial reef will be.
    lame.

  2. Why make all these toxic for decommissioning. Just take it ashore and turn it into a shelter

    1. It’s a military exercise, so really it makes perfectly-disgusting sense that life (marine and all other potential) should needlessly die as opposed to helping the most in need. 🙁

    2. Yikes to both of you. The military takes great care into decommissioning and scuttling a retired ship. They painstakingly remove just about every toxic material to marine life, they position the ship in a location least damaging to the ecosystem and in the end create a VERY large base for a reef which fosters hundreds, thousands of species of life.

      But military bad amirite?

  3. Its anti climatic, i thought there was gonna be war planes in the shot flying around then they fire a missile and the whole ship blows up in an Awesome explosion but we get this instead ☹️ .

  4. It is lame.
The one I seen demonstrated by Chinese Navy is by far more powerful. 🤔
If this is the best they can managed USN is truly in trouble.
