    1. Ever heard of the blitzkrieg? This is the aftermath. There’s possibly dozens more unexploded bombs dotting the UK, waiting to be uncovered.

    2. @NyxErebus I’d say thousands over dozens but hard to say. Maybe dozens of big ones like this.

    1. It was laying under the ground of an allotment, and was uncovered when developers were clearing the land.

  1. Wow! Imagine how intense the explosion would have been when the bomb was brand new. I’m surprised it’s still so powerful even after all these years

    1. WWI artillery shells of every size and bombs are collected every year by the tons in both Belgium and France, its called the Iron Harvest.

  2. Imagine thinking that your future generations will be safe from war that you’d gone through then find out that the bombs from the war still haunting even after almost a century

    1. @Isa A Who else should pay for things like this?

I really can’t imagine private business thinking this would be a profitable venture.

  3. should have sat Covid 19 and Donald Trump in a rocket shop on top of it and blasted them to Mars

  4. Me thinks that the closest building and homes now have structural shock applied to them. Maybe, move the bomb to that big, green field?

  5. where were the blasting mats used car tires so no debris would go flying in the air as seen here ??? your right no mats were put down…

  6. I am sure they had the right experts on this but I would have thought that they could control the debris field a lot better, like in those controlled building collapses. Bet there are a lot of broken windows from the shock wave alone.
