You saying you wouldn’t want to use it hunting because you’d destroy what you’re hunting because that’s what it was designed to do is just wrong. Yeah if you shoot it a bunch of time sure but a hunting rifle is way stronger and is designed to kill in exactly the same way. For example my .243’s which the bullet is .02 bigger is the exact same bullet just .02 bigger so it’ll do more damage now take my .270 which is .047 bigger on the size of the projectile but has way more powder than an AR and will do way more damage. The point of hunting is to shoot the prey once in a vital area to drop it and give it the least amount of suffering no matter what gun you use not just fill it full of holes.
I will not comply with any new gun laws, period. Everything I have was legal when I bought it, I’m not going to let ignorant people punish me for something I had no part of and have never even thought of doing.
