@lexa harpell I’m actually from NSW, but I figured WA was the clearest example to give of the revenue benefits of control 🙂 Can’t use my state, cause Gladys has gone from forcing the federal government to act with lockdowns, into refusing to do anything other than politely ask the people to do her job for her & not travel here. I was sick for 3 months with covid-19. Mostly exhaustion due to lack of oxygen, but it still took 3 months for me to feel good after getting the virus.
Yeah, IIRC the damage it does can leave people with a lung capacity diminished by 30% for months, although take that with a grain of salt as I’m just remembering off the top of my head.
It seems to take a terrible toll on the body regardless.
@Toussaint Chivars All my bills were covered by the VA, I’m a retired veteran. When I got the virus, there was only 5 known cases in the entire state of New Hampshire. And, just an FYI, I’m an independent. I don’t vote for party, I vote for best candidates to do the job whether it be state, local or federal and tend to have progressive political views.

Florida is now having more cases per day than The UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Canada, South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand combined.
Florida has a population of 21 million, these countries have over 500 million.
Florida is doing less tests per day than what the UK is doing, nevermind all the other countries.
