  1. Didn’t know how to hitch it on or pickup not equipped with proper gear, no pigtail, no ball and …….

  2. If done correctly, it makes more sense than a trailer does. From a traffic safety perspective anyhow..

  3. Long distance towing puts strain on wheel bearings, you miss that putting it up top. Also, a trailer must be registered but in that way maybe not? Still, seems unwise to me from the safety side, if the truck needs to stop suddenly, or if there is an accident. Maybe the driver can offer some insight. Getting the boat and trailer UP in the first place–I wonder how they did that, as well as why.
